Paul Taylor  Everyone is looking for something extra, a unique ‘X factor' to separate themselves, or their product, from the rest. In this series we’ll see that Christianity has one of those too. It’s an answer. No matter the question; the answer is the same and it’s so unique, so powerful, that it’s the difference maker. Right now the answer to every question seems to be, “strange times”. Everyone is saying it and trying to sound philosophical but that answer offers no help or hope. We need a better answer to anchor ourselves to. Join us online this Sunday to see what it is.

Ross Rodger Join us this week as we speak into “what to do in a crisis”. As we explore the crisis the early church faced in acts 8, we learn principles for dealing with a crisis like Carona today. Amo o'Kennedy: Follow Me As I Follow Jesus  This past Sunday we were completely blessed to have Amo o'Kennedy from Shofar Goerge. Having lead the men's getaway, he completed his time with us speaking into our 'I Am Disciple' series ... with a message on "Follow Me As I Follow Jesus", and how we engage our hearts, not just our minds.

We judge days, or first dates, or church events by how happy or satisfied they left us feeling. Because we’re so self centred and subjective in our happiness we tend not to trust anyone else with being in charge of it. We resist the idea of submitting to others, not just because that might imply that they are better than us, but also because we just don’t believe they can be better than us at ensuring our happiness… yet Jesus, not only the best human that ever lived, but arguably the happiest, voluntarily surrendered His will to someone else. Gary Blair: A Disciple Makes Fishers Of Men   Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Page after page of scripture is about Jesus’ radical love for those who were either victims or perpetrators to the mess they found themselves in; from adulterers to lepers. His radical love reached those who believed in Him and those who rejected him. To call yourself a disciple or follower of Jesus means to walk in the ways of the Rabi. For some, it sounds cultish, for others it feels controlling or manipulative, however we would all love to be discipled by a world leader in some area of our lives. Maybe business, a career, a sport or a hobby. Jesus, the world leader in life, invites us to follow him, to be His disciples in life. And He does that because He believes that if we give ourselves to following Him we can be like Him. Join us this week as we look at the incredible opportunity Jesus offers us to become a disciple and what that would mean for our lives.

Lutho Ngebeza: A courageous community is a gospel centred community deeply rooted in love. Everyone wants to be part of a community of courage. A community that calls us to be the best we can be. This week, we are going to look at how communities of courage are founded on the power of the gospel to change lives. Join us this week as we take a look at how God comes to rescue us from our sin and then empowers with His grace to bring life and healing into the world around us.

If consumption is the using up of something, investment means deploying a resource in order that it creates more wealth in the long run than it would have by using it up in the moment. We can consume our time or invest it. We can give our attention and energy to things offering immediate gratification or focus our attention and energy on things that will offer a return. We can probably even see food choices as an opportunity to consume or invest in our wellbeing. The Bible calls this “sowing and reaping”. This week we will look at how this principle applies to our relationships and see that we can only build a truly satisfying community when we stop treating them like something to be consumed and start seeing them as an opportunity to invest

Natalie Naude : A courageous community is a spirit filled community Before the infilling of the Holy Spirit, The disciples were hiding in fear. Something incredible happened when the Holy Spirit came upon them; it seemed that He put fire into everything they had learnt and seen from Jesus. Suddenly, instead of shrinking back in fear, they boldy and courageously began preaching about Jesus. The same people but completely different. The truth is, we all need the infilling of the Holy Spirit to leave the safety of our comfortable place and become a community of courage. Join us this week as we look at the power of the Holy Spirit in a community.

Gary Blair: Lord place me We all want to be part of a community that makes us better than we are. A community that lifts us up and encourages us to discover and use the gifts and talents that God has placed within us. But being or finding that community can be difficult. This week we are going to explore the idea that God places us into relationships for our good, to be a blessing to those he places us with, but ultimately God places us in relationships for the sake of His mission. Seeing community through this lens will cause us to be expectant that God will place us, use us and bless us in right relationships in the church. Join us this week as we explore God’s plan for our relationships.
