This week, we are going to look at how communities of courage are founded on the power of the gospel to change lives. Paul Taylor: A courageous community is a spirit filled community Before the infilling of the Holy Spirit, The disciples were hiding in fear. Something incredible happened when the Holy Spirit came upon them; it seemed that He put fire into everything they had learnt and seen from Jesus. Suddenly, instead of shrinking back in fear, they boldy and courageously began preaching about Jesus. The same people but completely different. The truth is, we all need the infilling of the Holy Spirit to leave the safety of our comfortable place and become a community of courage. Join us this week as we look at the power of the Holy Spirit in a community.

Natalie Naude: What is a Courageous Community and why do I need one? When Jesus decided to change the world, he chose twelve people to do life with and designated them apostles. The plan was that they would be with Him, and that He might send them out. Jesus knew what we often forget, life change happens best in community; That’s where character gets shaped, that’s where we learn our purpose, that’s where we learn how to test the voice of God, community is where we get the courage to step into the calling of God. So, from the very beginning, the “Jesus Movement” was a small group movement, a group of disciples that Jesus did life with. This week we are going to explore how God continues to use small groups of people centered on Jesus to heal, shape and send us out into the world for the sake of His mission.

Ross Rodger: Intimacy  We were made for connection to God; Deep heart to heart intimate connection. We long for it because God, in His grace, has put into our design a need for His perfect love. This is why people go to the ends of the earth to find the “perfect one”. It’s why from the beginning of time, men have been finding things to worship, be it the gods of weather or fertility or wealth. The scripture says that God has determined our allotted periods and the boundaries of our dwelling place, that we should seek Him, and perhaps feel our way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us. It’s like God has put into our soul a homing device that points us towards an intimate relationship with Him. As we begin 2020, the one thing we need to have 20/20 vision on is an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Join us this week as we put a line in the sand on what is most NB this year. A community that lifts us up and encourages us to discover and use the gifts and talents that God has placed within us. But being or finding that community can be difficult. This week we are going to explore the idea that God places us into relationships for our good, to be a blessing to those he places us with, but ultimately God places us in relationships for the sake of His mission. Seeing community through this lens will cause us to be expectant that God will place us, use us and bless us in right relationships in the church. Join us this week as we explore God’s plan for our relationships.

Deon Smith: 2020 Vision  As we begin 2020 we are very excited to have a message that will help us have 2020 vision in terms of who Jesus was and is, and how in His life, He encompassed the names and character of God  John 17:6  I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the World. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

The Unseen Gift gives you so much support to be able to take on this world, with this gift being a multitude of things, but today we are going to focus on how the Holy Spirit can be the greatest comforter.
