  • With Despair, There Is Hope - Podcast #263

    06/05/2019 Duración: 16min

Amazing timing this weekend.  I got a message Sunday from John O'Leary that said - "Arrest the thief of despair.  It may not be easy, but there is always a reason for hope in front of you."   When that message came through, it couldn't of been at a better time.   There are so many times when we are given information when we need it the most.   This message, along with his recent podcast where he interviewed Country singer Walker Hayes, really got me inspired to share this message with you today.  Check out this powerful podcast from John O'Leary here:   http://johnolearyinspires.com/2019/05/country-music-star-walker-hayes-craig-146/    There have been so many lessons I have gotten from this podcast (and all of his podcasts actually).  Sit back and enjoy this rather emotional show.  Lot's of real thoughts that I think will connect to a lot of people.    Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on ITunes

  • Nothing Changes Unless I Change - Podcast #262

    02/05/2019 Duración: 11min

Heard a great podcast recently from my friend Sam Crowley and he talked about Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes.   Check out his show here:  http://everydayissaturday.com/nothing-changes-if-nothing-changes/    I got a few ideas to share from what I got from listening to it.  Sit back and enjoy some thoughts here.  I need to be in my own corner, be my own cheerleader and stop being my own worst critic.   So many of us do this to ourselves and it takes a shift in our mindset to make the necessary changes in order for real changes to take place.   Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top 26 Book list

  • Interview with Mackenzie Nemitz - U of M Softball Senior - Podcast #261

    30/04/2019 Duración: 34min

What a special treat for you the listener but it was a fantastic time for me sitting down with the one and only Mackenzie Nemitz - a proud Lake Shore High School Alumni along with current member of the red hot Michigan Wolverines Women's softball team.  Join me for a fantastic conversation with her about the ups and downs of life - softball and the great relationships she has made along her journey.  So many lessons here about overcoming things in life - not just the knee injury she had during her sophomore year.  It was so inspiring for me to sit down with her and to learn a few lessons myself.  She's a delightful young lady who is going places in life.  I am blessed and highly favored to call her a friend now and I'm so happy and grateful she found a little bit of time to sit down with me here today.  Please make sure you keep tabs on her and her awesome U of M teammates as the finish up the season and head into the Big 10 Playoffs and hopefully a long trip to the NCAA College World Series.

  • Regrets Get Heavier & More Painful - Podcast #251

    31/03/2019 Duración: 22min

Very powerful and thought-provoking topic here that I found on this article:  https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/study-reveals-5-biggest-regrets-people-have-before-die-iwuoha/    It's a topic that I've heard about before.  The same topic that I've seen & heard about others go through too.  I've been more thinking about this topic too lately.  As it's one of the many common themes in my Principles of Leadership class.  We have had two deaths lately - one of a distant relative and a friend - both passed away this past week.  Quite honestly this is on topic that is really coming into play for me to help get me going with some changes I know I have to make.  This is one topic that I know everyone has to deal with.  As always, I'm interested to hear your thoughts & ideas about this one and any of my shows.  Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on ITunes or other services where you find this show.  F

    21/03/2019 Duración: 10min

This morning one of the first things I saw online was this quote:  "I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions." —Stephen R. Covey    It got me thinking about being in control of my choices.   It helped on my drive in that I listened to a little bit of a podcast, but mainly since I drove in some of my ride in silence, I was able to reflect in peace and come up with some connections to this.   Sit back and enjoy some thoughts and ideas connected to this quote.   Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top 26 Book list too.  Other things there on my site are being wo

    13/03/2019 Duración: 15min

Our basketball season came to a shocking end when we lost in the first game of the state tournament last week.  But I was reminded about a BIG difference maker in my life from where we played at.  Districts were held at L'Anse Creuse High School - North and in the commons area upon entering for that game, I was reminded about Mr. Tom Denewith.  He was a long-time principal there at that school and even though I was not a student there, our paths crossed thanks to my  mother-in-law and my wife. This man was a HUGE difference maker in my career as an educator.  Sit back and enjoy the story of how this man affected me and countless others with his professionalism, his great attitude and his difference-making mindset.   The key is to thank those people in our lives and to also be that for someone else too.   Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https:
