A Thought From Discipline - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1617
21/07/2025 Duración: 05minI found a unique post from Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) where this quote from “Discipline” was shared with all of us: “Keep showing up, no matter how you feel.” It’s a powerful reminder from a great source that we all need to be connected with in our lives, which is having discipline. There are many forms to this for all of us, but one of the main ingredients is this quote for sure and I really zeroed in on the keep showing up part! Hey, there are a lot of different quotes that I have shared over the years - I think we can all trust this one from Discipline him (or her) self. Keep working on it for how you connect to it. I need to do the same. Thanks for listening. A Miracle Frequency - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 7-18-25 #1616
18/07/2025 Duración: 08minA wonderfully timed post came across my readings the other morning and it sure did make sense to me today. On my walk with our dog this morning, it was such a nice morning that helped me feel a bit better and able to get around without a lot of pain. The gratitude was flowing and I hope this gets you thinking about it too. This post was shared by Gordana Biernat (@MyPowertalk) and I love this intro to the post that she shared: “Gratitude is a miracle frequency.” Her quote that was shared was: “Don’t wait until you lose something before you appreciate it.” I need to make this a part of my everyday activities or habits. One thing for sure, when that person or thing is gone, it vaults up to the top of our gratitude & appreciation list, but it’s also on the top of our sadness, missing and maybe even our regrets list. That’s something I don’t want on a long list as I get older. Thanks for listening. Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple P

A Different Look At Adversity - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thu. 7-17-25 #1615
17/07/2025 Duración: 09minI came across this connection from my book that I’m reading (and it’s been a long, ongoing reading of it), “Arete - Activate Your Heroic Potential” by Brain Johnson. He brings up this idea about us looking to be “antifragile” and it’s connected to not being fragile - breaking or giving up, the moment life gets challenging. Life does indeed get challenging for ALL OF US… every day… many times a day for sure. Love this part - "Nor are we just resilient - more skillfully dealing with life’s challenges and bouncing back a little faster when we get knocked around. When we’re ANTIFRAGILE, we use all those challenges as FUEL for our never-ending growth.” How about that!! Since we all have challenges, turning them into fuel for us to keep getting better, to keep learning, to keep overcoming, etc!! Thanks for listening. A Wonderful Thing - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed.7-16-25 #1614
16/07/2025 Duración: 07minI saw a recent post, again from a former student of mine, that opened up my eyes to catch the lessons that they are sharing. Kiara shared how she needs to keep being a bit nicer to herself as she looks back a bit to see that she has accomplished quite a lot over the last couple of years. That her goals keep evolving, as she does too. This is a lesson that I needed to see, when I needed it and her post helped with it. The quote that came with her thoughts was this: “I’m not everything I want to be yet, but I’m a lot of things I wanted to be 2 years ago, and what a wonderful thing it is to realize that.” Yep… I needed to realize this too! A Reflection - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 7-15-25 #1613
15/07/2025 Duración: 04minAnother great reminder for me and anyone else willing to keep learning through life. This one from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) where this was shared: “Your whole life is a reflection of what you’re giving your attention to.” This is something that I need to keep working on every day!! Remember, where our focus goes, our energy flows!! Thanks for listening. Be These, That's It - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 7-14-25 #1612
14/07/2025 Duración: 08minIt’s mid July, which for baseball, means it’s the All-Star Break. A great player and coach, Clint Hurdle (@ClintHurdle13) shared this super easy thought for all of us to connect to. “Be a friend. Be a helper. Be kind. That's it.” In fact, I mentioned in today’s episode how I need to reach out to a couple of people - I need to pause this and do that…. There, I feel a bit better reaching out to a few people. This formula is an easy one to follow. For us to look out to make it a part of our interactions with others, but for sure we need to do the same for ourselves too! Always things for me to work on to keep getting better & I like it like that. Thanks for listening. Does Courage Always Roar? - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1611
14/07/2025 Duración: 07minWhen I saw this post, it reminded me that courage can be quiet and not always a loud roar, but it also signaled to me that I can be (and need to be) more courageous in my life for sure. This came from The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) where it was shared - “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” Sometimes it’s the most courageous thing we can do and it’s probably something that nobody else will realize… but we will. I’m reminded to simply (yet it’s difficult) not give up!! Thanks for listening. Turning Points - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 7-11-25 #1610
11/07/2025 Duración: 07minI found a post that really got me thinking about things and there are some thoughts of mine that come with it too. (of course there is, that’s what my show is all about) This one came from Motivational Quotes (@motivational) where this reminder was posted for all of us, and I can see that it covers all humans, just about every day! “You’re being tested because you’re evolving. This is your turning point. Don’t let it break you.” Since we are changing all the time as we get older and time goes marching by, we have multiple opportunities to keep getting better and not to give up and quit. It makes sense to not only have awesome people around us that inspire us, but also that we spend our time going after or creating things that “fire us up”! Spending our time doing things that are a part of our reason for being alive!! That helps us for sure not to want to get broken or to quit. Thanks for listening. Always Grateful In Sad Times - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thurs. 7-10-25 #1609
10/07/2025 Duración: 09minAgain, amazing like always I see a post of something when I need it the most. Late yesterday I found out a former student of mine passed away. I know his family well as I also taught his two siblings. His two parents are a big part of the school community where I taught for 30 years. The post came from POSITIVITY (@PositivitySaid) where it was an image of 3 framed pictures on the wall over a couch. The three pictures each had a part of a quote that went together. There were three main words and smaller ones underneath. It went like this: “GRATEFUL for the small things, FOR the big things & EVERYTHING in between.” In my tearful reflections over this happening, I thought of the conversations I had with this student and members of his family over the years. Lots of laughter and love along with a few tears here and there too. It also reminded me how blessed I have been to have ALL my former coworkers, students, that community, etc., that poured into me in so many ways, that my life became better from all of

Life's Best Things Are Free - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 7-9-25 #1608
09/07/2025 Duración: 12minI found a post that fit exactly with what I did yesterday with one of my best friends. From Seek Wiser (@SeekWiser_), “Proof the best things in life are free: Sunrises, Sunsets, Hugs, Conversations, Love, Waking Up, Nature, Laughter.” The breakfast that I had with one of my best friends, Scott, got me thinking about the fact that I’ve been through all the items on this list (and more) with him throughout our lives. I’ve also been blessed to have others be a part of this list too. There are so many other things that are free in life - recognizing them along with being lucky enough to share them with others, is a key to what I think is a very happy & fulfilled life. Going through this list on this episode, really got my emotions going as I’m seeing (again), how blessed I really am. When I connect things like this list to special people in my life, I get inspired & feel a tremendous amount of encouragement. Scott helped to remind me of both again as I shared some breakfast time with him. Find those thi

Call Me Crazy - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 7-8-25 #1607
08/07/2025 Duración: 05minSaw a post that got me thinking about what some people call other people crazy, when they look to help others win. This came from Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) “Call me crazy but I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.” Just imagine - like my good buddy Coach Rich Bowers told me and my leadership students so many years ago, life is all about creating “win - win” types of relationships - and if we had more people looking to create those!! So many people LOVE to criticize, complain, blame, put others down, etc. The world needs less of that for sure. It seems social media has made it easier for those with a negative attitude. Learn To Rest - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 7-7-25 #1606
07/07/2025 Duración: 04minI just came across one of the simplest, yet strongest reminders for life and it came from Mind Essentials (@Mind_Essentials). This simple thought for all of us is: “When you get tired, learn to rest - not quit!” - Banksy. In today’s busy world with so many things going on, it is really easy to keep pushing ourselves. There are moments for sure where we need to pause, take a deep breath, rest and then keep going. In order to be our best, so we can be our best for others and chasing after our dreams and goals; we do need to take moments of recharging so we can feel like we can keep going. I found this message to be really comforting. I hope you get comforted and inspired by it too. Thanks for listening. Change Habits To Grow - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1605
07/07/2025 Duración: 08minInky Johnson (@inkyjohnson) seems like he’s always been helping others with his life story, his examples, his reflections, etc., and Mac Stephens (@MacStephens) is frequently helping to get Inky’s lessons out for others to see and reflect on. I found this one and again, it seemed like it was a directed for me to pick up so I can keep working on myself. “Growth comes when you change your habits,” was the quote from Inky and I shared his thoughts on this too. I hope this helps you too. Thanks for listening. Continual Growth & Progress - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 7-4-25 #1604
04/07/2025 Duración: 07minRight off the bat when I saw this, I mistook it for someone else and after I recorded this episode, I realized this was not the sports broadcaster that I thought it was. My apologies for mixing this up. Steve Keating (@LeadToday) put this out there: “If you're not making progress then you're probably not making anything else either.” This post got me thinking and connected this to another item I just ran across and that is the podcast from John O’Leary where he interviewed his guest, Kyle Scheele. It’s a powerful episode - liste to it HERE. The main post from Steve was that it was connected to a quote from Benjamin Franklin, which said: “Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.” The reason this popped up on my radar was that both connections reminded me how important it is to keep going in life. To keep learning new things along with to keep putting in effort in life because of the new things. I really advise you to listen

A Good Heart - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thur. 7-3-25 #1603
03/07/2025 Duración: 05minFound a double stacker today with some good reminders for all of us. The first one came from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) where this was shared: “Allow yourself to shine without the desire to be seen.” As I was sharing some thoughts here in this episode about this post, I started to share something else from a post I also shared - this one came from Mind Essentials (@Mind_Essentials) where this thought connected: “Do everything with a good heart, expect nothing in return, and you will never be disappointed.” Both of these tie into the thought of “do good anyway.” No matter what is happening - nobody is telling you thank you, someone you helped didn’t help you, your kind heart is not getting you noticed, etc. Also, there will be the arrows that get shot at you - the negativity, hatred, anger, lies, etc. Again, do good anyway! The world needs more of it for sure. Thanks for listening. Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple Podcasts and

These Are Yours - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 7-2-25 #1602
02/07/2025 Duración: 07minFound this powerful reminder that is right on target for all of us. From Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) where they shared this: “Your discipline is your product, your name is your brand, your habits are your investments.” Each of these are certainly things that I am still working on, and really, always will be. My discipline is something that is always on my stove cooking away. Since that ties into whatever “products” I put out there to the world, building up my name is part of that too. My brand is my name for sure and since my habits are part of who I am, my future is sown with those habits. Two things for sure - you have the same formula AND my formula is something that I need to work on every single day of my life. Thanks for listening. Cultivating Happiness - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 7-1-25 #1601
01/07/2025 Duración: 08minFound a great connection to today’s message, and it simply came from me going to a doctor’s appointment along with running an errand. I saw the post from Inspiration & More (@LifeWithJohn) where this thought about happiness was shared: “Happiness is not about longing for things that you don't have; true happiness comes from inner peace. It also comes from inner peace. It also comes from appreciating your life and people around you. Happiness is something that you cultivate from within.” -Sangeeta Rana. This really hit home with me and reminded me of the simple fact that happiness is indeed a choice. Too many people going around complaining (I am one of those people plenty of times - trying to get better though) so I know how easy it is to do it. But, I’ve been working on not letting others cause me to do it. I know I have to work at not complaining, so for me it’s an everyday battle. I do know it’s worth it for sure. I hope you do too. Thanks for listening. Please take a few moments to subscr

Focus & Energy - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 6-30-25 #1600
30/06/2025 Duración: 05minAnother awesome post came across my “tele-type” this morning from Seek Wiser (@SeekWiser_) which reminded me of a few things. This post shared these great thoughts: “Make it a habit to talk about blessings more than burdens. When you spread positivity, the Universe blesses you with even more blessings. Close the window that triggers you, no matter how captivating it is. Be disciplined about what you entertain. Where focus goes, energy flows.” These things on this list screamed at me to keep working on them - for my sake and the sake of everyone that needs me to be my best. I think if you look at each of these statements for yourself, like me, you will find plenty to keep working on yourself, in order to be your best. One thing for sure - the world needs each of us to be trying to do our best and to keep getting better. Thanks for listening. Rotten Fruit - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1599
30/06/2025 Duración: 05minI found a great short reminder about what we can do instead of seeking revenge on someone. This person puts out some great stuff, thanks Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) for this: “A wise man said: Don’t seek revenge. The rotten fruits will fall by themselves.” Those people who are out there causing you problems - just remember, they are causing troubles for others and mainly themselves!! Don’t waste your time trying to get back at them as we all have to remember, they live with themselves!! All the “crap” they are putting out in the world, all comes back to them. We can rest easy at night knowing we don’t have to live with them and that we are investing in ourselves to be our best; while they are using all of their time putting out seeds of anger, negativity, hatred, lies, etc. Don’t give them a second more of your energy!! Three Things - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fr #1598i. 6-27-25
27/06/2025 Duración: 06minI found these three things that made sense to me about how I can keep getting better. The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) reminds all of us that “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” The first thing that got my attention is that all three of these are things that I know I can work on and to keep looking to improve. When that happens, I know that the people that I love and care about, will get my best version of myself - which in turn will help them in different ways. Little things like this can help us throughout our lives. Thanks for listening.
