Derived from his forever hated middle name, Swedish-American musician Henrik Jonzon coined the alter-ego “The Late Arthur” for his new melodic lo-fi guitar rock project. This messy mix of nostalgic indie bliss depicts a dysfunctional world of skateboarding, sex, family camping trips and the endless plights of trying to become a functional adult. On his debut effort “Lake Shore Drive” Henrik rants about when his grandmother came to visit the family in Chicago where they were living at the time. Especially honing in on a day trip downtown resulting in an awkward situation in the van… The Late Arthur is a far cry from Henrik Jonzons day job as a songwriter/producer for European artists like Kilian & Jo, Sigrid, Miriam Bryant, Alexander Oscar, Rebecca & Fiona, Ängie, Vigiland etc. The Late Arthur will be releasing a follow up single as well as an EP in 2019 - But first off, as mentioned, is “Lake Shore Drive” May 17, 2019. Me (Tobias – singer, guitarist) and Marcus (drummer) met at school (like university). We both had years of playing in bands before but didn't have anything going on music wise anymore. We bought a case of beer and headed to a rehearsal space to jam. We kept on doing just that and didn't really realize we had a new band on our hands until we had several songs and a booked show. Kios is an indie rock band out of Nashville, TN that has been described as joyous indie-pop, with vibrant and uplifting melodies hard to ignore. The 3 piece is made up of Cole (vocals/guitar), Aaron (drums), and Mitch (bass). Cole and Aaron met through a previous band that formed at Belmont University - Aaron and Mitch grew up together in Newark, Ohio; all 3 moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue music. In the summer of 2017, the trio moved in together which sparked the idea of creating music. Cole decided to spend the summer in his hometown, Richmond, Virginia, where he began writing songs and recording demos for the project. The three sent demos back and forth, drawing in on their rock and pop backgrounds and thus, Kios began. They dropped their first single, “Be Loved” in March of 2018. The trio has been compared to names such as COIN, Colony House, Bad Suns, Two Door Cinema Club, and Phoenix. They plan to release an EP by the end of summer 2018.

I started playing music in elementary, and went on to be a percussionist in middle school, and kept expanding into other instruments ever since. - I was born and raised in L.A. The group was founded by Fyodor Sakhnovski and Mojdeh. Fyodor is a guitarist, percussionist, and audio producer. Mojdeh is an inter-disciplinary artist, musician, award winning and internationally touring poet, educator and advocate for survivors of trauma.
