This Is Personal - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1339
02/09/2024 Duración: 06minFound a powerful and short statement from Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) that made total sense to me - “This comeback is personal. It’s an apology to myself.” I hope this makes a connection with you too as we all have things that when we look in the mirror, we all have things that we want to fix and do better at. Making peace with myself and my past & implementing lessons I learned to make things better in my life, that’s a huge thing for me to do. It fits into offering myself a little grace too. Do Simple Better - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 8-30-24 #1338
30/08/2024 Duración: 06minI saw a great clip on Twitter / X, posted from Jon Smith (@jonsmith) and it was from Coach Kirby Smart from the University of Georgia football team. Part of the post was this: “Why do I tuck in my shirt? Why do I touch the line? A lot of times, players think it’s trivial … but the really smart players will ask ‘why is this important?’” The path to excellence is paved with caring about all the little things. Do simple better.” In the clip (find it HERE) he goes into a bit more detail about the importance of doing little things well. This, like many other connections to sports, has a very powerful and awesome connection to real life. Remember, we are not all athletes - but ALL OF US are living life… we are all humans. The Greatest Project - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thur. 8-29-24 #1337
29/08/2024 Duración: 12minCouple of things I connected with recently and one of those things I’m so grateful for are friends like Coach Dave Ruekert. Coach and I were talking the other day and he came right out and told me that he appreciated the fact that he saw me as being strong in my self-awareness. That was a compliment I didn’t see coming and as he brought this up to me, I had a smile on my face and tears welling up a little bit in my eyes. He got me to see something about myself that I have been dabbling with and now it’s front and center for things that I know I have to keep working on. The second thing was that our talk helped me to make a re-connection to something Gary Vee said about the importance of Self-Awareness. Find the powerful video clip HERE. To me, it’s a must watch type of video. Make sure you check it out as Gary speaks for Gary, much better than I do trying to summarize a few points in this podcast episode.

Pruning - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 8-28-24 #1336
28/08/2024 Duración: 05minSaw a great thought from Jon Gordon (@jongordon11) where he mentions something that I know we all probably need to do a little of. He reminds us that “Pruning is necessary for growth to happen. What looks bad today leads for greater growth and a harvest in the future. Whatever you are going through, trust that a harvest is coming!” This is something that all of us can use because we all have things that we could get rid of (prune) in our lives in order to help ourselves (and those we love) to get better. Getting better every single day - that’s the way I think we can live our best life!! Thanks for listening. Be Patient & Keep Going - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 8-27-24 #1335
27/08/2024 Duración: 12minAfter having a great start to my day with three different & awesome people, I wanted to tie in this post that I found from Self-Care Canvas (@selfcarecanvas), where they shared this thought: “Be patient. Sometimes you have to go through the worst to get the best.” One of the three was my friend Stan (who’s been on the show before and needs to get on again), as we met for coffee and a little breakfast and to catch up with each other. A very powerful, uplifting & encouraging chat I had with him. Finding out yet again, that I’m not the only one dealing with “stuff” in life. He and his family have a few different things they are dealing with at the moment and he knows he & his family will get through these issues AND they will come out better for going through them. He reminded me about that too and how he notices me not giving up, always having a smile along with looking to encourage others too. I needed that reminder for sure. I also spoke with my buddy Dr. Jeff Lip (another multi-time guest o

Toughness - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 8-26-24 #1334
26/08/2024 Duración: 08minI found a great reminder on how sports is an awesome teacher of what life is all about. This is from Sports Psychology (@SportPsychTips) and it’s a reminder we all need to connect to. “Being mentally tough is about: Giving your best effort. Pushing through discomfort. Focusing on the task at hand. Blocking out distractions. Facing your fears and staying poised under pressure.” From this list, I know that I have plenty to work on every day of my life. I also know the value of putting in the effort to improving in these areas too. What a great plan of attack for all of us to take on. Thanks for listening. Some Things To Reject - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1333
26/08/2024 Duración: 07minHere is something great from a guy that I’ve been connected to for a few years. Alan Stein, Jr. (@AlanSteinJr) He reminds us that “By rejecting blame, complaints, and excuses, you can foster a more effective, resilient, and positive approach to personal & professional challenges.” I know that I’ve been guilty of doing all three of these many times throughout my life. Knowing that there is a better way for me to take on challenges that life throws at me, I know I have to choose these better ways for sure. I appreciate the value that Alan Stein, Jr. brings to the world and I’m glad that I’m able to share them with you. Thanks for listening. Surround Yourself - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 8-23-24 #1332
23/08/2024 Duración: 12minLove when these posts come across my “timeline” to help remind me of something that, not only do I need to keep getting better, but also I get to share it with others. Coach the Coaches (@WinningCoaches) come through again with this gem of a reminder: “Surround yourself with people who are rooting for your rise.” We certainly don’t need to be around people pulling for our demise. We need to be around people looking to cheer us on. Of course, we need to be that same way with those people too. I was blessed to have some coffee this morning with another one of those people that always make me feel better about myself. They inspire me to be my best and I always feel better after I hang out with them. I know I need to be that not only for him, but for other people that I am blessed to spend time with. This person lights a fire in me everytime I meet with him & I need to do the same with others. How about you? Do you have people that when you leave them, you feel tons better about yourself, your life, wha

Life Is Better - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thur. 8-22-24 #1331
22/08/2024 Duración: 07minSaw a great post from Chris C., a longtime friend and high school classmate, who shared this thought from Pope Francis: “Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is… Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.” Again, another thought that can really help ourselves out and I hope that we can learn from this in order to get better. It helps everyone if we look to help each other a bit more. Thanks for listening. Bigtime Richness - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 8-21-24 #1330
21/08/2024 Duración: 11minHad an amazing chat with my friend Tricia a few days ago that really left a major impact on me and I hope it will leave you with some thoughts too. She’s part of our Difference Maker group that I’ve been blessed to be part of for a few years now, and she reached out to me to share a powerful story with me. She was recently with a larger number of her family celebrating another family member's life, who was battling cancer. Well, the journey took Tricia on a self-reflective ride of emotions, love, humbleness, and a look at her life’s journey. It has helped me to do the same. The advice she got from her older aunt was priceless. She wished Tricia to have a life of “richness in emotional health.” WOW.. .what a great reflective piece for all of us. Keep this close to your heart my friends and go after creating it in your life. Thanks for listening. A Day In Your Life - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 8-20-24 #1329
20/08/2024 Duración: 08minScrolling, scrolling, scrolling… and finding more good stuff to share with you. Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) comes through again with this thought that caught my eye… “Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness, bad days give you experience, worst days give you lessons, and best days give you memories.” One of many things that stood out to me is how often we have all of these happening to us throughout a few days or a week. The experiences that each moment can give us and that we can choose to take from it, really is powerful once I took a look at them. I know I need to keep working on myself - getting out of my own way - in order to maximize my improvement on a daily basis. If I can keep on the path of always looking to learn from my days that I’m blessed to have, I think I can continue getting the most out of my life. It helps me to see a bit clearer of what I want to become and what I want to use my time here to accomplish. Good stuff.. hope it helps you too. Thanks for listening

Game Changer - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 8-19-24 #1328
19/08/2024 Duración: 06minPsyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) has got to be doing something right as it’s the second time today that I made a connection with this person. “Switching your mentality from “why is this happening to me” to “what is this trying to teach me” is a game changer.” Just a slight change in perspective to things that happen to everyone. Every single day. Since we all can control what we think - not that it’s easy, but we can do it, this reminder can truly be a game changer for all of us. Thanks for listening. Distractions - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1327
19/08/2024 Duración: 08minThis person is on a bigtime winning streak with the posts… Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) reminded me to keep battling with the distractions that are around in my life. I’ve let distractions win parts of just about every day in my life. If I don’t separate from them, they will get in the way of me going after things that I know I can do / need to do. In today’s world there seems to be many more distractions than ever before. Knowing they won’t go away, it’s up to us to take control to not let them get in our way. Thanks for listening. If You Can - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 8-16-24 - #1326
16/08/2024 Duración: 05minFound a short but sweet reminder about a few things from Jon Acuff (@JonAcuff) where he reminds us about … “A soundtrack I’m starting my week with: If you can worry, you can wonder. If you can spin, you can soar. If you can doubt, you can dare.” Now, this isn’t meant to only be thought about to start a week off with. I think it’s a great reminder for any day that we want to get better. I have been seeing and reflecting about a lot of things like this lately. Hope this helps you too with a few ideas that I shared. Looking For Faults - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thur. 8-15-24 #1325
15/08/2024 Duración: 03minMindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) comes through again with a powerful lesson that I must have needed, since it hit me so hard. I know I must keep trying to get better with this. “Those who spend their time looking for the faults in others, usually spend no time to correct their own.” I get going at times complaining about others and what they are saying or doing, instead of looking for what I can improve about myself. I think much of the world needs this reminder, especially some of our so-called, “leaders.” I’m looking to judge others less and put my efforts and time into making myself the best person I can be, who looks to help others. Scary Stuff - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 8-14-24 #1324
14/08/2024 Duración: 04minSaw a reminder for myself and maybe for others from Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) and it’s all about how change can be scary, but how much worse it is to let fear stop us from getting better in life. I’ve done just that in life at times, in fact, many times! I think that is an amazing reflection point for me. At times I’ve taken it to be a negative and I start feeling sorry for myself. More recently, I’m trying to look at it as the amazing opportunity that it is for me to keep trying to get better, to do more and to not quit. This is a powerful & eye-opening quote from Mandy Hale. For No Reason At All - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tue. 8-13-24 #1323
13/08/2024 Duración: 09minGreat stuff is all around us to get fired up & inspired by and I found this one from Sahil Bloom (@SahilBloom). It reminded me that we are all fighting some type of battle and for just about everyone, it’s more than one battle we are fighting. The letter he shared in this post was one of course that drove me to some tears. The inspiration that comes from things like this, I want to focus on instead of all the distractions that are around us all the time. Take this episode in and see what it moves you to do - at least I hope it moves you to do something positive for yourself and those that you love. Thanks for listening. Coming To Grips - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 8-12-24 - #1322
12/08/2024 Duración: 09minSome recent moments have shown me that I’m starting to come to grips with some of my health battles & I need to keep making the best of things instead of getting down, sad, upset, etc. I am trying to embrace what I have going on in order to help myself along with (like in the previous podcast), helping others. Everyone is fighting some kind of battle or even more than one battle and I need to focus on not letting my battles get in the way of me being my best, trying to live my best life and looking to help others along the way. More to come from this topic for sure. Thanks for listening. People Helping People - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1321
12/08/2024 Duración: 09minFound another great edition of the Ed Mylett podcast that really got me thinking about a few things and I hope they help you think about some things too. Watch the YouTube episode HERE. If you like listening to just the audio, listen to it HERE. There are so many lessons here in this episode, so I’m sure you may pick up many other lessons too. The main connection for me is looking back at so many of the people that have helped me throughout my life and I am grateful for the people that helped them when they needed it. That way when we crossed paths, they had something to share with me. We all have people in and out of our lives, some are blessings and some are just lessons. This is why it’s so important for us to keep looking to grow and get better. That way not only do we have more to help ourselves out, but we become better and more able to help others too. A big part is that we are able to help others where we used to be. Old versions of ourselves, can help others who are where we used to be. Thanks

Create Small Moments - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 8-9-24 #1320
09/08/2024 Duración: 04minGreat posts are all over the place and this one is another inspirational one for me and hopefully you too. I found this from Psyche Wizard (@PsycheWizard) and it was all about creating small moments that help us to love our lives! It got me thinking about the little things that I intentionally choose to focus on and help to love my life even more. It’s really an investment into myself & those I love. I know you can identify those small moments in your life that mean so much to yourself. Try to connect with them to love your life even more and to keep going on connecting with those moments to keep your life going in a great direction. Thanks for listening.
