The World’s first 31 in 1 Post Workout Supplement. 100 calories, 25g of Protein and zero sugar.   Use Code 100NOTOUT at befirstornothing.com to receive 15% off your first order.    In this episode, we dive into the ongoing debate between supplements and daily habits, reflecting on how our personal philosophies influence our health choices. We recognize that many of us have been influenced by the messaging of the supplement industry, thinking that taking a daily multivitamin would solve everything. But as we discuss, it’s not about sticking rigidly to one supplement or one routine—life calls for flexibility. We share how we’ve each recently started taking supplements daily, not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but to help fill in the gaps where our lifestyles or diets might fall short, or where daily stressors crop up. At the same time, just because we’re taking certain supplements—like vitamin C, zinc, or magnesium at different times—doe

This ep kicks off an exciting new partnership—and it’s one that’s been a long time in the making. For over 12 years, Marcus and Damian have carefully navigated the crowded world of supplements and longevity, often skeptical of yet another “miracle” product or brand. Frustrated by a revolving door of diagnoses—ranging from leaky gut and Crohn’s to stomach ulcers—Moreece trie

  • 100NO 630: The One Way To Age Gracefully

    27/04/2025 Duración: 25min

On this episode we kick things off with a (hopefully) humorous and relatable story about early morning flights, canceled plans, and the realities of travel. As we reminisce about our recent Melbourne meetup, the conversation quickly turns to a deeper theme: the many different paths we can take in life and longevity. Marcus uses his airport ordeal as a metaphor to explore the idea that there’s never just one "right" way to approach health, aging, or even navigating a city. Drawing on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner and the wisdom of diverse perspectives, we discuss the importance of staying open-minded and resisting the pressure to find that single, elusive miracle solution to living well. With plenty of laughs, insights, and honest reflections, this episode reminds us that—whether it’s finding your way in Melbourne or on the journey of life—there are countless routes to success and fulfillment. Get ready for an entertaining and thought-provoking conversation about flexibility, diversity of perspectives, and

  • 100NO 629: Orgasms for longevity? Fact, Fiction, or Just Clickbait

    20/04/2025 Duración: 20min

In today’s discussion, inspired by a provocative Instagram post from Dave Asprey, the duo explores the peculiar claim linking frequency of male ejaculation to health and longevity. As they dissect the math and the motivations behind these claims, Marcus and Dr. Damien grapple with the broader implications: Are social media and the digital world leading us astray with confusing and clickbait longevity advice? Tune in as they unravel these ideas, sharing insights and laughs while encouraging listeners to critically assess the content they consume in the pursuit of a vibrant long life. So many questions for us to consider on this topic – What are your thoughts on Dave Asprey’s claims about orgasms and longevity? Do you find his formula credible or problematic? How do you feel about the focus on physical attributes and sexual health as markers for longevity, particularly for men? How does social media influence our perceptions of health, wellness, and longevity, according to Marcus and Damo’s discussion? In the

  • 100NO 627: The end of an era! Time to say goodbye

    06/04/2025 Duración: 25min

After what will be 10 years, we have made the difficult decision to bring to an end our 10 Day Longevity Experiences to the European Blue Zones of Ikaria and Sardinia.    Not because we don’t love it, and not because it’s not a life-changing bucket list trip of a lifetime.    More than anything, and especially given we are a podcast dedicated to time (these days called longevity), our family and business commitments outside of 100 Not Out have made it increasingly difficult to continue spending the best part of a month away in Europe.    Of course, if you thought we were here to announce our podcast is ending - never fear! We are only just getting started :)    BUT ... if you have always loved the idea of spending 10 days with us in Ikaria, or 10 days with us in Sardinia ... or maybe both(!!), then this year is your last chance to join us.    As we record this we have 2 spots left for Sardinia (max group size 15) and spaces for Ikaria.    If you’ve always wanted to experience the European Blue Zones with us a

  • 100NO 626: We were wrong! What Teun Toebes taught us

    30/03/2025 Duración: 27min

Last week’s incredible episode with Teun Toebes showed just how wrong we (or at least Marcus) had been about dementia. After years of calling dementia the worst way to die, right at the end of the episode Teun challenged that perspective. This young man who spent 3.5 years living in a nursing home and with people with dementia, not only taught us the power of treating older people like human beings (which sounds so obvious), but also just how far from “Human Forever” we really have strayed. For more on Teun, find him on Instagram and LinkedIn. Today, we are shooting over to (Netherlands) where we are joined by an incredible young man. At just 21, after finishing his nursing degree Teun Toebes made the bold decision to move into a nursing home -, living alongside people with dementia to understand their world from the inside. His firsthand experiences have fueled his mission to break stigmas and push for a more humane, inclusive approach to aging. He has captured his experiences in his bestselling book The Housemates and an award winning documentary – Human Forever. • 100NO 624: 12 Years of 100 Not Out & The future of longevity

    16/03/2025 Duración: 25min

What a time we’ve had delivering 100 Not Out to you for 12 years! What started as a fringe wellness topic when we began is now a compelling conversation for millions of people around the planet.    Ageing well and longevity is not a fad or even a trend, it’s a part of the modern human life design challenge that we all face. On this episode we share our thoughts on the future of longevity and how NOT being a part of this future is a risk none us would want to be taking.    EUROPEAN BLUE ZONES LONGEVITY EXPERIENCE Our 6th trip to Ikaria and our 2nd to Sardinia for our 100 Not Out Longevity Experience takes place in August and September. We are in Ikaria August 22-31 and Sardinia September 2-11. To find out all the details and to apply to join us, go to www.100notout.com

  • 100NO 623: Human Forever with Teun Toebes preview - dementia, ageing and humanity

    09/03/2025 Duración: 34min

In two weeks time we will be releasing our interview with Teun Toebes, award-winning film-maker who lived in two nursing homes across 3.5 years - out of choice. At just 26, Teun is creating a tidal wave of change across the world as we question how we care for, love and support older people - particularly those with dementia. It’s so easy to think of this about our parents or grandparents; but depending on your age and stage of your life, you might be thinking about how your family, friends and wider society will support you as you get older. It’s fair to say this young man has had quite a profound impact on us. Today’s ep is an introduction to Teun and his work, and in a fortnight on ep 625 we will release our full interview. You can follow Teun on Instagram and LinkedIn.

  • 100NO 622: Health is not enough for longevity

    02/03/2025 Duración: 22min

When will ageing well become urgent?   That’s the question we pose and discuss on today’s episode.   Most people are hoping they’ll age well; yet most people believe they’ll end up in a nursing home.   We are confused and conflicted on this ageing adventure, and on this episode we discourse the intense importance of excelling at all areas of life, and not just one or two, in order to truly master the art of ageing well.   LONGEVITY EXPERIENCES 2025 We are off to the European Blue Zones of Ikaria and Sardinia this year. Join us in one or both locations for the Bucket List trip of a lifetime. Details at www.100notout.com

    24/02/2025 Duración: 22min
  • 100NO 620: Apple Cider Vinegar, Belle Gibson & the Netflix Moral Compass

    16/02/2025 Duración: 33min

Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix has caused the resumption of a conversation that we first had on Episode 105 nearly 10 years ago. The perception of wellness is taking a beating, and it’s all down to the behaviour of a few. In the latest instalment of the issue is Netflix’s mini series Apple Cider Vinegar, which is covering the Belle Gibson story along with the late Jess Ainscough. Some find it unsavoury to watch, some finds it has no ethical backbone, some find it compelling viewing and can’t keep their eyes off it. You be the judge – we would love your thoughts. Episode 105 is here. EUROPEAN LONGEVITY EXPERIENCE 2025 This episode proudly brought to you by our Longevity Experiences to the Greek island Blue Zone of Ikaria and the Italian island Blue Zone of Sardinia. • 100NO 619: Longevity, Beliefs & The 4 Minute Mile

    09/02/2025 Duración: 24min

When Roger Bannister ran a sub 4-minute mile for the first time in 1954, he did what no one on planet earth had ever done before. No one believed it was possible. And interestingly, as soon as he achieved it, running a sub 4-minute mile became suddenly achievable. His record lasted just 46 days. Today, the world record is 3 minutes 43 seconds. So, when Damo almost cracked the 4-minute mile equivalent in his golf game recently, it spurred this conversation around our longevity beliefs. Not many of us have sub 4-minute mile parents or mentors that show us that mastering the ageing process is possible. Not many of us believe that we can do ageing well. But perhaps more importantly than ever, whilst longevity is now extremely common in most developed nations, very few of society believe that they can “run it under 4 minutes”, aka do it exceptionally well. • 100NO 616: Call your old friends! Codewords & reconnecting

    19/01/2025 Duración: 20min

Damo has reconnected with an old friend, and it’s prompted this conversation on the importance of picking up the phone and calling those people you haven’t spoken to in years. From bridal party members to school friends and former colleagues, there is great joy in reconnecting with people we once enjoyed so many good times with. Life gets busy, people move and circumstances change, but the connection of times gone by always remains … and it’s fabulous for ones longevity when meaningful social connections exist. BLUE ZONES LONGEVITY EXPERIENCE There’s plenty of connection and good times during our Longevity Experiences to Ikaria and Sardinia. If you would like to apply to join us go to www.100notout.com

  • 100NO 615: Ageing Well Means Working On Weaknesses

    12/01/2025 Duración: 26min

The inconvenient truth when it comes to ageing well is that it’s not our strengths that carry us into longevity well, but the strength of our weaknesses. Think about that for a moment. Poor health is what brings most people undone – that’s a weakness. Poor wealth can create relative poverty – that’s a weakness. A poor social life can lead to loneliness, which can lead to depression, which can lead to dementia – that’s a weakness. In this episode we share our own weaknesses and discuss the importance of making them a priority – and a strength – as we navigate 2025 and beyond. LONGEVITY EXPERIENCES 2025 – BLUE ZONES OF IKARIA AND SARDINIA We are thrilled to be returning to the two European Blue Zones in 2025. Our 10-day Longevity Experience in Ikaria is taking place for the sixth time – August 22-31. We then go to Sardinia for 10 Days from September 2-11. • 100NO 614: Your Best Year Ever 100 Not Out Style

    05/01/2025 Duración: 22min

Happy New Year and welcome to our first episode of 2025! Damo has been moving for 5+ hours per day in a very simple manner … and it’s got his muscles aching, but more importantly, his fulfilment levels are sky high. With a combination of social, spiritual, and movement – we use Damo’s recent volunteering efforts at the Australian Open golf event as an example of what a wise health outcome in 2025 looks like. Keep it simple – make it something you love to do – and if appropriate, be around people who allow you to be the best version of you! Here’s to an incredible 2025! LONGEVITY EXPERIENCE 2025 We are off to Ikaria and Sardinia in 2025 for our 100 Not Out Longevity Experience. This bucket list trip of a lifetime can be enjoyed at one or both locations. Ikaria is August 22-31 and Sardinia is September 2-11. For all the details head to 100notout.com Photo by Bruno Nascimento on Unsplash
