Diving into the Multiverse again, because Loki can set up so much for the MCU if they allow it.  And what's with the Sacred Timeline?  Who made it sacred, and why aren't the others important?  Is this the real Loki, and is the variant also a Loki?   Skynet you say?  Well, not yet but Tesla might be making strides towards it and Jeff is all in!  He imagines a world where we can drive around and record our podcast while our car drives itself.  Think about all the things you can do in a self-driving vehicle.  What do we need to get there?  WIll 5G enable all of this to become a true reality? M&M...Mitch and Matt Orrin with a hockey heavy episode.  We talked a bunch about the new Mighty Ducks: Game Changers show which, oddly enough, features Might Ducks alums helping train a different team AGAINST THE NEW DUCKS!!  Sounds pretty crazy, though Mitch gives it the seal of approval.  It led us to talk about hockey movies and how it is hard to name a bad one.  Whats your favorite hockey movie? This was a special live episode and we were joined by Anthony Crawford. who always has the best questions, and Scoop Jenson, out of NYC.  Scoop is a long time fan and regular guest, while also being a Hollywood insider.  We had some great discussions, especially about which Superman has been the best.  Is it Cavill?   Does he get a bad rap because the movies weren't very good, despite him being good in the role? Welcome to Episode 207 of Broadcast Geeks! On this podcast we discuss all things pop culture provided that our DVR’s have space and our streaming accounts are paid up.  This week, the Geeks (Mitch and Matt Orrin) are virtually together to discuss all things geek. We're back to finish our review on the second half of the 4-hour beast that is Zack Snyder's Justice League. Matt was a little less enthused about it than in the previous episode but overall we come to the conclusion that it was better than the 2017 version, although that isn't a hard bar to clear. Some of the stuff didn't make sense at all, even if it was cool to include a Martian Manhunter cameo. There's also a bit of non-spoilery talk on The Falcon and The Winter Solider as well as Godzilla vs. Kong. Mitch also recommends watching Shin Godzilla, a 2016 movie where Godzilla evolves like a giant, gross Pokémon throughout the narrative. Wandavision has ended and man, was there a lot to talk about.  At least half of this episode was spent discussing the ending, of which was a sensitive topic amongst the Geeks.  We were split on the ending; half of us really liked it and the other half was put off by it.  Not the show, just the ending.  So many questions!!  What happens to Vision?  Where does Wanda go from here?  Will they be together again?  All of the inside stuff and fan theories were shot down and put to rest, such as the Pietro from the X-Men movies.  What a Bohner! We continue the talks about MCU stuff, especially the upcoming Thor movie.  We also talk Samuel Jackson and his movies.  This was a fun episode! Another episode, and we are still talking about Gina Carano's release, but now we have more info.  We know who she will be replaced with, or at least what character will take more of a spotlight.  We spend little time on it though, because with Wandavision there is so much more to talk about!  The MCU has a bunch of movies coming out that might ALL be connected.  Both Spidey and Dr. Strange are dealing with the multiverse, and Wanda should have a big role in Dr. Strange.   Last, we discuss Burt Reynolds and his movies.  Many seem to revolve around a bootlegging theme, or at lest some of his finest works.  What's your favorite Burt Reynold's film? On this podcast we discuss all things geek and nerd related, provided our DVR’s have space and our Netflix accounts are our own and none others.  This week, the Geeks (Jake, Mitch and Matt Orrin) are virtually together to discuss all things geek.  Umbrella Academy is back, and we are ALL glad for it.  That show rocks!  Ellen Page might still be the weakest, acting wise, but her character is much better this season.  With some shows ending, its nice to have a show like this enter the scene.  The Boys season 2 is also on its way (as of this recording!) and that should also be lauded.  Mitch continues to finish all of the Marvel Netflix shows and the end is near for him.  He catches us all up, before we switch to everyones favorite heroes in a half shell.   You can send your feedback and show topic ideas to broadcastgeeks@gmail.com.
