The regular season is all but over — we're onto conference tournaments (aside from Duke-Notre Dame). Did this weekend's results ensure that only two (at most) ACC teams can make the NCAA Tournament? Terry and Nick start by discussing Yale's OT win vs. Harvard — one of the most entertaining games of the year — and Cornell's win over Princeton before transitioning to Notre Dame's one-sided win over Syracuse (continuing a trend) and touch on SoCon and Patriot League Madness.

Can you believe it? How did the regular season go by so fast? D-Fly and Dixie are here to get you pumped for the final weekend of the regular season which includes pivotal games up and down the college lacrosse landscape.  But first the guys recount a sad weekend that saw the demise of Hopkins Lacrosse and the passing of legend Richie Moran. They discuss both topics, and then bring in writer, IL contributor and friend Christian Swezey to talk about Coach Moran’s legacy. Swezey is the author of a new book, “We Showed Baltimore: the Lacrosse Revolution of the 1970s and Richie Moran’s Big Red.” One of the key games this week features Army West Point and Boston University, and Mark had a chance to talk to Terriers’ head coach, Ryan Polley. In the interview they discuss the success of this year’s Terriers, spring boarding out of the tough 2021 pandemic season, the leadership of the senior class, coaching lacrosse at a “hockey school,” the Patriot League gauntlet, and of course, T Anthony’s.

The boys are back together and this time Peet Poillon and Matt Bocklet run a three-man weave with Christopher Newport head coach Mikey Thompson, who has the Captains 16-0 and IL's No. 1-ranked team with their regular season complete. Thompson talks about his background, his style, his university and his team on this edition of Let's Ride.

Cooper Perkins is relatively new to box lacrosse, but the San Diego Seals' play-by-play announcer loves the indoor version of the game that he played outside growing up and he is diving deep. Perkins has created Lax Metrics, a website where he analyzes existing box score information and has created interesting new statistics to provide a deeper analytical view of the players in the National Lacrosse League. Perkins joins host Stephen Stamp this week to share the genesis, the goals and the methods of Lax Metrics in a wide-ranging and interesting conversation that is sure to help even veteran box lacrosse folks gain a deeper understanding of the sport. 

The Jacksonville Dolphins are off to a 10-2 start and in line for the No. 1 seed in the SoCon Tournament, and much of the credit for this year's ascent goes to assistant coaches Chris Perzinski and Tyler Granelli. Peet Poillon is traveling this week, so Terry Foy fills in, joining Matt Bocklet to talk with the North Florida duo.

The boys are back to kick off Holy Week by discussing Maryland's dispatching of Rutgers on Sunday night (and Kevin Brown joins from Maryland Stadium to discuss), diving into Jacksonville's win over Richmond (and they take a quick detour to Upstate New York), unpacking what Brown's upset of Penn means in the Ivy League, figuring out how Notre Dame's one-goal win over Duke equates to the mercy rule and much more.

The Georgetown Hoyas have been sport's most ascendant programs since 2018 — the firsts season that assistants Mike Phipps and David Shriver joined the program. Coincidence? Peet Poillon and Terry Foy (who's coming off the bench for Matt Bocklet) try to find out.

It's Midseason Week on Inside Lacrosse, so Nick and Terry begin by discussing their teams, players, players, goals and social media moments of the year. They then welcome on Patrick McEwen, aka @LaxFilmRoom, who is Inside Lacrosse's Data Specialist and joins to discuss the current state of the RPI as it relates to NCAA Tournament selection (28:10). They transition to a brief discussion of the IL Fantasy project that Patrick oversaw (47:47), then discuss the games of the weekend (54:38).

Conference play heats up as the first full weekend of spring brings three Top 10 matchups and another three games featuring a pair of Top 20 opponents. Plenty of quality action for fans across lacrosse nation. In an interview with Cornell’s Connor Buczek, they discuss the awesome opportunity and responsibility of coaching at your alma mater, the pros and cons of being the youngest head coach and coaching staff in all of Division I, coaching and maintaining a professional playing career, Big Red senior leader John Piatelli, the upcoming matchup with Penn and much, much more. In this week’s March Madness-inspired Give & Go, they look at the men’s lacrosse potential of the remaining Sweet 16 basketball schools. Time for some athletics directors to step up and make it happen.
