After a strong rookie season in the National Lacrosse League, Kellen LeClair had to stop playing professional lacrosse because of a heart issue that he thought would keep him out of the game forever.  But after a surprising improvement in his condition, LeClair is back and grateful to have rejoined the Calgary Roughnecks and returned to the game he's played since he was three. Hear his story of why he had to stop playing, the passion he found to replace lacrosse, and how excited he is to be back in the NLL and — what a bonus — playing with his little brother. Rachael DeCecco and Alyssa Murray Cometti recapped the North Carolina and Boston College clash along with other key weekend games. Not only does IL Editor-in-Chief Matt Kinnear sit in with D-Fly and Dixie to preview the biggest weekend of the 2022 season, but Dixie interviews BOTH Lars Tiffany and John Tillman as they prepare for the showdown and discuss their teams. Maryland-Virginia is hardly the only delicious game this weekend, as four other Top 20 matchups populate the schedule on Saturday, including three Ivy League openers with ranked teams squaring off. One of the viral moments of last lacrosse weekend was Maryland’s win over UAlbany, which — due to weather — had to be relocated at the last minute, played indoors at the recently renovated Jones-Hill House, previously known as Cole Fieldhouse. As a result, the technology wasn’t in place to broadcast or stream it via the Maryland athletics department’s standard platforms. Terps’ Director of Strategic Communications Jason Yellin was determined to get the game out to those via whatever means necessary due to its historic nature — the first-ever competition played in the converted venue — and the effort resulted in a cell phone stream on YouTube. To learn more about how it came together, IL’s Terry Foy talked to Libby Ellis, Maryland’s AAD Sport Administration, Yellin, intern Matt Sanders and coach John Tillman.

What a weekend. Nick joins Terry again and they start by discussing Hopkins' 10-7 win over Syracuse, which was long on drama but short on quality. Up next is Penn's late-game heroics, then Loyola's first half explosion vs. Duke, Ohio State topping Notre Dame, Harvard upsetting Michigan, Princeton beating Rutgers on Friday night and more.

D-Fly and Dixie preview this weekend’s biggest games, including three Top 20 matchups and Dave Pietramala’s return to Homewood Field as the Syracuse Orange take on the Blue Jays. The weekend’s biggest game will take place in the Garden State though, when No. 3 Rutgers battles No. 7 Princeton for the glory of the Tots Meistrell Cup, and the fellas sit down with Princeton head coach, Matt Madalon. (NOTE: This game has been moved to Friday at 6 p.m. due to pending inclement weather on Saturday.) They also talk about the return of D-Fly’s all-time favorite Netflix series, The Last Kingdom, a fun afternoon of lacrosse in Georgetown, Inside Lacrosse’s new Fantasy Lacrosse games and much, much more.  In this week’s fantasy sports-inspired Give & Go, D-Fly asks Dixie what are the least interesting topics to bring up to co-workers at the proverbial “water cooler.”

The boys finally have a name! Peet Poillon and Matt Bocklet are back with their "Let's Ride" podcast, this time joined by Princeton assistant coaches Jeremy Hirsch and Jim Mitchell. Hirsch handles the D, Mitchell runs the O and — on the heels of the Tigers' big win over Georgetown on Saturday — the group discusses the program's identity, the type of player who can get recruited to Princeton, building a NASCAR identity, the best rope units of all time and so much more.
