Say Hi­­INTRODUCTION God has great plans for all of His creation. What He has set for you and me is beyond what the mind can comprehend or the eyes can see. Jeremiah 29:11; 1 Corinthians 2:9. However, many Christians today are living below their potential because of the works of glory killers. It is time for you to arise and say like David, “Arise my glory,” as you confront the glory killers in your life. WHAT IS GLORY?Glory is that which makes you unique.Glory is that which shines when you fulfill God’s given purpose.Glory is that which radiates when you fulfill destiny.It is in fulfilling God’s purpose that His glory is released in your life. In John 2:11, Jesus performed the first miraculous sign and the Bible says “…thus revealing His glory.”  Unless there is fulfilment of purpose, there cannot be manifestation of glory. WHAT ARE GLORY KILLERS?Glory killers are the things that can hinder the glory of God from manifesting.The things that can hinder your intimacy with God.Those things that can make you fall

Say HiApostle Peter is another example of a glory carrier.From an ordinary, unlearned, unschooled, “raw” fisherman, Peter became a foremost Apostle.Peter’s ministry legacy remains outstanding even several thousand of years after his passing into eternity.Scripture reveals that Peter contacted the glory on two vivid occasions viz. On the Mount of Transfiguration, and on the day of Pentecost - Matt. 17:1-9; (2 Peter 1:16-18); Acts 2:1-4, 11.Till His death, the Spirit of glory and of God rested on him. He died as a Martyr between AD 64 and 68. Say HiINTRODUCTIONThe issue of glory is beyond story. You don’t merely tell glory stories, they announce themselves. Through the ages, God has always manifested Himself by the display of His glory. One of such men, privileged to carry and display the glory of the LORD was Daniel. He interpreted dreams and received apocalyptic visions. He was taken from Judah during the Babylonian captivity led by king Nebuchadnezzar. Say HiINTRODUCTION- The life of Joseph is a practical example of a man that was set for glory. God’s presence and power was with Joseph and that made the difference and helped him to achieve glory in spite of all he went through. Joseph went from the pit to Potiphar’s house; he went from Potiphar’s house to the prison and from the prison to the palace and eventually he became a Prime Minister in Egypt. We can learn some powerful lessons from the life of Joseph as we trust the Lord to take us to a new realm and help us to attain glory by His grace. The following are important lessons from the life of Joseph1.         His beginning- Genesis 30, 37a.         Joseph was the son of old age- It took many years before his mother had him. Say HiIn the mind of many the church is thought to be a human institution, a social arrangement to facilitate the interests and mission of like-minded people. Good as this may sound, the revelation we have in the Bible goes beyond this. The origin of the church actually lies in the desire of God to have a people of His own through which He will accomplish His redemptive plan for the rest of the world (Exod. 19:1-8; Deut. 7:6). In a both strategic and as well as eternal sense, the church is God’s instrument for displaying His manifold wisdom, to dislodge Satan, the prince of this world and to establish His Kingdom here on earth (Matthew 16:18; Eph. 3:10).What is the Church? Say HiIsaiah 60:1-3 is our text today and it is indeed a prophetic declaration upon the people that survived the Assyrian captivity. This prophetic declaration came through Prophet Isaiah at the time the remnants were in disarray, confused and dejected, not knowing what to do and how to make sense of their lives. While many of them were certain that it was God that delivered them from the powers that took them captives they doubted themselves and possibly questioned God because of the situation they found themselves in. So, while we live in anticipation of the promises made and lofty heights envisioned we are careful not to be deterred by the strains of disappointments we face as things are apparently not turning out as envisioned. Say HiOur God is a promise Maker and a promise Keeper. He never lies to any man. He keeps everyone of His promise. We can all attest to the truth that all God said was going to happen this year are already happening. If He said to us that “...darkness will cover the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples” and it is currently happening, then we should believe Him to show us His glory as well.We have actually experienced His glory in a measure as promised in Isa. 60:1b & 2b. This explains why nothing is missing in our camp. I encourage us to remain under the glory cloud. Say HiThe Almighty God has been merciful to us. Against all odds, He has led us thus far in the long dark days of this year. The Lord has preserved our lives, provided for us, strengthened and blessed us despite the challenges around.
