It's an ANIME CLASSIC this week on AD Podcast with 1998's Cowboy Sci-fi epic Trigun! Vash the Stampede the $$60,000,000,000,000 Man, the humanoid typhoon might be one of my all time favorite characters in anime and we get to talk about him on this episode of the podcast. We've been covering the arcs of Dragon Ball from time-to-time on this podcast for some time now. And we are finally at the last arc before the Saiyan Saga begins. Piccolo Jr. is introduced as the new villain of the series, and man does he make a great first impression. There's little mystery as to way he becomes a fan favorite character as the show continues. It's 2025 and there's a lot of discourse over the state of animation and I thought it was worth talking about it. The Day the Earth Blew Up has a very shaky history leading up to it's release earlier this year and it has lead to Ketchup Entertainment acquiring the rights to Coyote vs Acme. The previous year was filled with animation triumphs and animation mishaps. Let's talk about all of it as a whole and see where they state of animation truly is in 2025.

Pixar's Win or Lose is the first TV (or rather streaming) series from the studio and man do they hit it out of the park! Following the little league softball team The Pickles we see different perspectives from one week of events through the eyes and anxieties from different members of the team. It's a great concept and some of the most solid execution from a studio that, in my opinion has been losing a lot of it's magic. But they've got it back now and this one is a homerun! This may be the best season of Invincible to date as Mark's duty to protect Earth from the Viltrumite Empire is put to the ultimate test. That as well as the morality of being an all-powerful hero with dangerous villains threatening people he cares about, how does he handle them?

Dragon Ball DAIMA is the latest addition to the Dragon Ball Saga and the final adaptation in which Akira Toriyama was heavily involved. This 20 episode series is the swan song of the series creator and it's a fun-loving romp for any DB fans out there. Toon in now and have listen to our discussion on Dragon Ball DAIMA!

Lord of the Rings War of the Rohirrim wasn't hyped or really talked about even by Warner Bros Discovery, and it wasn't lighting critics up either. But that doesn't stop it from being a beautiful new adaptation from a little known story in the LOTR Universe. With a talented director and gorgeous art design that sucks you right back into the Peter Jackson trilogy Rohirrim takes home some strong thumbs up from this crew. Toon in now!

Castlevania Nocturne is back with season 2 and what an exciting season it is! The sequel series is certainly carrying the tradition of the original with subsequent seasons being better and better! The action and animation of this series has hit new levels along with better themes and the return of a series favorite character. Toon in now!
