I Can't Do It by Evan Oxner

It can be so easy to look around us and think that others should be doing more to make a difference with what they have. Jesus made it clear that we are each responsible to use what He gives us. We shouldn't be occupied with judging others, we should be driven to use what we have! Luke 12:48 We have what we have so we can make a difference.

If can be incredibly frustrating dealing with a culture and political system that seems bent on attacking and belittling The Way of following Jesus. What are we supposed to do when that happens? What does God want us to do to change it? Peter gives us some clear instructions, though it can be hard to swallow. 1 Peter 2:11-17 If you want to see change you need to show honour not disrespect.

Throughout history there have been many ideas about God and life and the universe, but it is the Word of God that gives us what is true and real. When we believe those things that go against the Word of God we end up getting confused, lost, anxious and defeated. It takes work to make sure we are believing what is true, but it changes everything about our lives! 1 Timothy 1:3-6, 18-20 What we believe matters.
