With over three decades of experience as a nurse, Christen discusses her many roles in healthcare, including working as a cardiac ICU charge nurse. During her time working in the ICU Christen began to tune into the emotional intuition of patient care, which she calls “the art of nursing”. She noticed that health isn’t just how it looks on paper, which is why she began exploring alternative healing modalities, including healing touch and Reiki. After years of going back and forth between entrepreneurism and healthcare roles, Christen finally broke away and started her own business, combining her healthcare background with holistic wellness practices.
