This week I spoke to Reuben Aiten-Till, a creative illustrator, sound engineer host of his own podcast show that features individuals telling the story of how their parents fucked them up. He's a comedic genius whose creative vision stretches further than most. Having met Reuben whilst living in a warehouse in North London, he's passionate about podcasts and allowing your inner creative to be released. This week I spoke to Luke Swann, a social entrepreneur and book author who started The Prologue, a company that educates and inspires children to develop a purpose through storytelling. Luke's company aims to empower children through reading and writing in schools. Having met Luke whilst working in a co-working space in Manchester I've realized that there's no one more passionate about children's education and empowerment and his entrepreneur of the year awards shows this. He's an incredibly kind-hearted and open individual who understands the power of positivity. In this podcast, we talk about ways the school system has changed and asked the question of how to find a purpose in life. He's given me some awesome feedback on my approach to teaching and made me look at education in a totally different way. This week I spoke to Zoe Thomas, housemate and contemporary artist with some of the most interesting and inspirational designs I’ve ever seen. Zoe studied fashion and textiles at university and carried on her love for creating designs and drawings in her contemporary art. She’s an incredible person and truly great at what she does. In this podcast, I learned why living in warehouses breeds creativity and found out more about struggling with mental wellbeing as well as taking a look at her wonderful portfolio of work. This week I spoke to Corin Silva, an actor and my best friend which between us we've shared some of the most incredible experience filmmaking together. Corin studied acting up in Manchester which is where we met in 2012 and since then we've collaborated together on several films including short films and feature film projects.
