This man has put in the hard work for decades, directing close to 500 music videos with the likes of Shinedown, Jason Mraz, The Zac Brown Band, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Blink 182, and many many more. Growing up with a father who worked in Hollywood, Darren got to see the blue-collar side of the film industry while having the opportunity to rub elbows with the greats (John Wayne gave Darren his first pair of cowboy boots). As successful as Darren has been, a year ago he realized a major shift had happened and he and his business were left in the dust. Even with his outstanding resume, in a word, Darren had become 'irrelevant.' Join us as we talk with him about how he had to "fire himself" and rebuild his business from the ground up by utilizing one of the most innovative forms of communication in human history--social media.
