Earlier this year the Department of Public Safety identified six primary districts of chronic crime. Last week they announced a new weapon in their arsenal - Gleaners Food Bank trucks. Starting in June and running through September, the Department of Public Safety will partner with Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana to provide weekly mobile food pantries in six focus areas the city says are home to a disproportionate amount of crime.
