This week we discuss our first thriller from first time feature director Dan Trachtenberg, 10 Cloverfield Lane. We also collectively complain about trailers themselves and the idea that they might be going a little overboard. Worry not, listeners, for Errol has been properly flogged for not having recorded using his microphone in this episode. Reviews come in many forms on this week's Movies on Tap.

This week the boys get down to what we've all been waiting for, two superheroes fighting each other. We discuss the second film in WB's journey to create a marvelized DC universe, as well as whether or not critics are influential to box office numbers. Believe us, this is not a Rick and Morty kind of episode.

This week we stumble into some deep thoughts about time travel and interdimensional love, and Nick says Namaste for some reason. There's a lot more than that but it's late and I can't remember stuff after midnight, so give it a listen and find all of the special little Easter eggs hidden in there. This week we get animated over Howl's Moving Castle! It's Nick's Pick this week and he wants to talk about cartoons, because he's Nick. Yet, to say this is a cartoon definitely sells this film short. Directed by the venerable Hayao Miyazaki and starring Christian Bale, Lauren Bacall and Billy Crystal, this anime is more than you may expect.
