In this Podcast, I speak to Maria Healy. I've known Maria for a long time from her early days as a dedicated dance music fanatic. In this episode she tells us about her journey from the dance floor to the DJ box. How her passion for music got her in trouble with the police and her desire to become a DJ and being a female artist in a male dominated industry. She has experienced a lot of ups and downs in the past couple of years including the death of her mother as well as her brother almost losing his life shortly after. He goes into the highs and lows of being one of the original superstar DJ's, his hard house days, making the move into the techno realm, his days on BBC Radio One, how he has been living and working in Las Vegas for the past ten years and how the pandemic has changed his life for the better.
