This was another very special night at the Luminosity Beach Festival. It was the first time that I've played there in four years, and it was definitely worth the wait. There were a couple of power cuts during the set due to the bad weather, but that only added to the atmosphere once the music returned. I loved it. I hope you enjoy the set.

It was great to be back in the USA, for the first time in two and a half years. This is the recording of my set, as I closed out the Hydra Stage at the very first Dreamstate Harbor event in Los Angeles. In this Podcast, I speak to Maria Healy. I've known Maria for a long time from her early days as a dedicated dance music fanatic. In this episode she tells us about her journey from the dance floor to the DJ box. How her passion for music got her in trouble with the police and her desire to become a DJ and being a female artist in a male dominated industry. She has experienced a lot of ups and downs in the past couple of years including the death of her mother as well as her brother almost losing his life shortly after. We talk about his early days in the Northern Irish dance scene, from playing clubs at the age of 14, to having Tony De Vit as a mentor within the space of two years. We talk about the impact that Tony's passing had on not just him, but the whole dance music community. He goes into the highs and lows of being one of the original superstar DJ's, his hard house days, making the move into the techno realm, his days on BBC Radio One, how he has been living and working in Las Vegas for the past ten years and how the pandemic has changed his life for the better. He was also part of BBMak, a group that enjoyed huge success in the US in the early 2000's supporting Britney Spears & NSync on their nationwide tours.
