Description: When Theodosius was appointed to clean up the mess in the eastern part of the Roman Empire, he was served with a tall order. The Goths were rampaging through the countryside and who could blame them the way they were treated? Theodosius would embrace Christianity in a serious way, but not just Christianity in general, but a specific form of Christianity.
