Paul is sent to Felix for his case to be heard. Many times we find ourselves in places like Paul: Being falsely accused of things by people who have actually committed the things they say you did.

As we had looked at how we should respond positively, with an attitude of 'I can do it', more when people make requests of us, we now look at the question "Should I Ever Say No" when people ask something of me?

A Lot of assumptions are made in this chapter. Some by strong Christians. Assumptions will hurt us, so lets see how to recognize and avoid them.

Paul, on his way to Jerusalem, encounters tears, warnings, emotional tugs, and a prophecy that had some problems. Still he is undeterred and continues towards Jerusalem. We look more at the question of should he have gone or were the warnings for him to stop? Also, what is wrong with the prophecy?

As Paul continues his journey to Jerusalem he is warned of the chains and tribulations to come. Paul says that none of these things move him ... so, what kind of things do move him and what should (or should not) move us? He also gives what he thinks are his last words to the pastors of Ephesus.

At Ephesus, the Bible says that "God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul," and "that even handkerchiefs and aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them." Should we expect this to happen today? Also, this is the first and only place in scripture where casting out of evil spirits is called exorcism. There is a reason why.

Priscilla and Aquila become even more instrumental to Paul, and a new major influencer of the church arises in Apollos. Paul comes to Ephesus for the second time and stays a lot longer.

Paul comes to Corinth for the first time, he makes some important friends in Aquila and Priscilla, and undergoes so much persecution and threats that the Lord gives him a very special word.

Paul on his second missionary Journey, goes to Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens the gospel is received in different ways and with varying results.

Paul and Barnabas decide to go back to the churches they visited on their first journey together, but get into a dispute over taking John Mark again, so Barnabas takes the southern part of the route with John Mark, and Paul takes the northern part with Silas. This chapter gives the details on what happened on Paul and Silas' Journey.

In Acts 15 A question arises in the church of what should be required of new believers. After some debate, James sends back a list of four “don’ts” to the church at Antioch. Was this beneficial to them? What should we require of new Christians as far as behavior or lifestyle changes? Should we ask for any at all? Are we truly ready for unsaved people to be added to the church? Do we expect them to get cleaned up first?

Paul and Barnabas are thought to be gods one day and then the people are ready to stone Paul. Does Paul die or is he just wounded, and what happens next?

Luke writes in Acts 14 that "the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren." So, how does someone go about to poison the mind of another? If we learn how it is done, we can better understand how to prevent it from happening to us!

Paul and Barnabas begin their missionary journey at Cyprus and Pisidia, as they are sent out from Antioch. They begin with the Jews, but go to the gentiles once the Jews reject the message. Interesting how the same words bring joy to one group and bitterness to the other.

James is killed by Herod and Peter is arrested to be killed, but an angel shows up to break him out of jail. Afterwards Herod dies.

Peter arrives at Cornelius' home and discovered that they don't know what to ask him, and Peter wasn't told what to say. So, Peter opens his mouth and ... (thus has not always worked well in the past!)

Peter has a vision that involves all sorts of unclean animals and is told to kill and eat. Though most people refer to this vision as abolishing the food laws, the real principle Peter was to learn had nothing to do with food ... and it is as clear as could be!
