Word Of The Bay

Jonathan, Kyle, and Nick talk Bryan Cranston, lightning hockey, and the rollercoaster week in Tampa sports. This launches into the topic of the greatest nights in Tampa sports ever. The guys talk Bolts playoffs and what they will need to do to win game 7. After the break they determine if the Tampa Bay Rays do or do not suck, and agree that they do not care about the draft, FOR NOW. 

Nick and Kyle take the podcast alone to NOT talk about the draft, the fail. The guys spend the first half talking playoff hockey and the Lightnings VS Red Wings. They determine if the Rays do or do not suck this past week. Nick talks about Lightning attendance this season, and Kyle talks Dreamy McHustle. 

The guys start off talking a little about Jameis Winston and the draft. Pete Rose, PEDs, cheating in baseball, and the hall of fame. The guys talk about opening week of baseball, ask if the Rays suck and talk Lightning garbage time. 

Jonathan returns with long time friend of the podcast and frequent guest Chris Davis. The guys talk about the Rays season starting next week. Each give a wins perdiction and dicuss the potential of the starting rotation and bullpen. Kyle asks if Joe Maddon is indeed the second best manager in baseball, and we talk about potential feels connected with the Trop. After the break, Chris explains why he is now pro-Winston, and Jonathan clarifies as to why he feels Mariota will have more success in the NFL. The guys talk Arron Rodgers refusing interviews, and city council decisions on the Trop, before launching into a little hockey. 

In this episode, Kyle raps. Nick and Kyle akwardly talk Jameis Winston's weight gain and the ridiculous meida coverage it receives. The guys talk Rays middle infield depth and how they may cope with injuries in the beginning of the season. After the break, Kyle has a bone to pick with a small town newspaper, and Nick calls for a medic. 

Nick and Kyle talk fine spirits, cheese, and then a little bit of football. Both talk about Mariota visiting One Buc Place this past week, and what it might mean for the draft. They seemlessly shift into hockey to talk about the games versus the Habs and Jets over the past week, as well as the Canadiens attendance at Amalie. After the break they talk about early retirement in the NFL, and get all sad about baseball. 

@BucsBreif joins Jonathan, Nick, and Kyle on the podcast this week to talk podcasting, free-agency and the moves the Buccaneers have made thus far. The guys talk about the Rays playing the Yankees in Tampa, Cobb re-signing with the packers, and the Lightning setting the record for home wins. 

Anthony @Strike_TwiceTB joins Nick and Kyle once again on the podcast to talk about the world of bay-area sports. The guys talk about the karate kid, Suh to the Bucs,  free angency, and Jameis visiting the Bucs. After the break they get into the Coburn trade. Talk the Lightings playoff chances, and the last two games against the Blackhawks, and Panthers. Anthony and Kyle disagree about the Sticks of Fire. Finally they talk a litte Rays baseball. 

Andrew Katzman (@A_Katzman83) joins the guys to talk about out-of-town fan invaiding our area. The guys talk about the upcoming Rays baseball season and spring traning. After the break, they lunch into a discussion of the Lighting and the recent road trip they completed. Fun times were had by all. 

Nick and Kyle go it alone on this episode as they talk about Jameis Winston's gut, Rays fan fest, and spring traning. The guys invent a new flavor of Gatoraide and talk a little hockey. They spend the 2nd half of the podcast talking the Lightning west coast trip and how they stack up aginst west coast opponents. 

We're totally talking football. Nick, Jonathan and Kyle spend the first 30 minutes trying not to talk about football, Tom Brady, and the greatest coaching trees of all time. Kyle proposes a halt on all draft talk for the next few weeks. The second half the dedicate to hockey, Nick tries to explain hockey in his drunk state. 

Nick, Jonathan and Kyle watch the Buccaneers Super Bowl DVD and comment on it. Best if listened to WITH the DvD. 

Jonathan, Nick, and Kyle are joined by Destiny as they talk about the "BIG GAME" and the deflated footballs. After the break, Kyle shoe-horns in some All-Star hockey talk. The guys talk NL baseball with Destiny and her past as a Yankees fans. All four give their Super Bowl picks for this week. They end on Lenny Kravitz's crazy scaves. 

Jonathan, Nick, and Kyle talk about the Sharkie awards, their own fake podcast award. The guys a little bit of football, and superbowl. This lauches into dicussion over the AFC championship game, deflated balls, and JoePA. Jonathan spends the second half of the game venting about the Packer's loss to the Seahawks. Many feels are had. 

Jonathan, Nick and Kyle start by talking a little poker. The guys talk about the Ben Zobrist trade and stumble though the MLB's offseason transaction. This leads into Bucs talk about the new offensive coordinator and early expectations. The guys talk a little about the CFB National Championship. The guys talk of this weekend's past play offs and the Dez Bryant incomplete pass. Nick, and Kyle talk Lightning and of course Evgeni Nabokov, the struggles on the power play. 

Jonathan, Nick, and Kyle talk about the upcoming NFL play-offs. The three make predictions on the weekend and break down the games in a way that only they can. This launches into a breif dicussion of the Buccaneers and the number one pick. The guys go into a deep discuission about Jameis Winston and rape culture / allegations. They end with a little light hearted Lightning talk. Horay! 

Anthony @Strike_Twice joins Kyle and Nick on the podcast this episode. The guys talk about Twitter hacking, the Interview, and Wes Welker on molly. Anthony has a bone to pick about Kyle rooting for the Buccneers to win. They talk about the 1st overall pick and possible offensive coordinators. The guys talk about St. Petersburg's city council decison regarding the Rays, and Montreal rumors. Finally they wrap the podcast up by talking about Tampa's darling. The Lightning. 

@weaksauceraido Marquis Johns joins Jonathan and Kyle on this week's episode. They talk about the now defunt 98.7 The Fan and raido in tampa. This launches into football talk and the Buccaneers versus The Packers. Jonathan gets into the increase of penalties in games. They talk the Bucs number 1 draft pick, the Rays stadium, and the Rays offseason activites. Horay!

Nick and Kyle are joined by Jose for the latest Word Of The Bay. The guys talk about hockey as the best live sport of them all. Nick and Kyle go over Kevin Cash as the next Rays manager and what they expect from him. This goes into the next location of the Rays stadium, everyone gives their potential locations. Kyle and Nick talk Jeff Tedford and the first overall selection. This eventually gets into discussion about Jameis Winston. 

Nick and Kyle take to the podcast alone again. Kyle starts off by talking about Anime of all things. They eventually get to talking hockey. The guys talk about the Lightning in first place, the return of Marty St. Louis, and nothern hockey fans. The two of them talk about the Buccaneers getting their shit together. Nick wonders if there should be an award for quaterbacks specifically. This becomes a conversation about which player each award should be named after. Finally the boys talk about the Rays. Joy!
