Say HiThe year has just begun but a lot has been achieved so far in His house. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to come before Him in repentance and for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s power during the week of fasting and prayer, along with the admonition to sustain the Holy Spirit’s fire, last Sunday. We pray that the Lord will continually grant us grace to sustain the fire.While we are encouraged to continue to fan into flame the gift of God already released on us (2 Timothy 1:6), it is critical to note that supernatural power is an offshoot of divine revelation-Zechariah 1:7-17; 4:6-7.DEFINITIONS                                                                                                             1. Say HiThe Faithful God has done it again. He has helped us through another time of waiting on Him. To Him be all the glory.The Lord has released on us as individuals, families and church so much this past week. It is my prayer that we shall all be able to sustain the various experiences, endowments, giftings, empowerment and encounters.I pray that we will not quench the Spirit’s Fire in our lives, families and church - 1 Thess. 5:17I pray that the Spirit of the Lord would remain on us as He did on Jesus, the early church and the Apostles - Jn.1:32-34; Acts 2:42-47. For us to sustain the Spirit’s Fire, we all need to make the following commitments: 1.       Commitment to Righteousness - Matt. 3:13-17     Righteousness has to do with right standing relationship with God.     It also has to do with doing the right thing at all times.     Righteousness is what made Jesus to be anointed above His fellows –  Psa. 45:7We also must love righteousness and hate wickedness for the Holy Spirit to remain on our lives. 2. 

Say HiThe year 2019 is no doubt going to be an exciting year for all of us. It is also very clear to me from the infallible word of God that the God of heaven will give us success this year; He will level every mountain before us; He will help us to complete both our old and new projects; He will cause us to overflow with prosperity and comfort us again - 1:17. Yet, all these will happen how? Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.There are however conditions to be fulfilled if the aforementioned blessings would be delivered to us. And it is my prayer that the Lord will help us to fulfill these conditions in Jesus’ Name.Foremost of the instructions in the book of Zechariah that we must obey, is the instruction to return to God - V.3. This has to do with repentance. WHY MUST WE RETURN TO GOD?Some of the reasons why we all must return to the Lord include:It is a command from the Lord Himself - V.3; Mal. 3:6ff.To be free from God’s anger - V.2For the LORD to return to you - 3To avoid

Say HiWhile Man remains God’s method for accomplishing His purpose on earth, the Word of God is the primary tool He gives to Man to fulfill the divine mandate. This is obvious in every generation both in the Bible time and in our contemporary days. Prior to the move of God in any place at any time, the consistent pattern that God has ever followed and still following is the revelation of His Word. For instance, the overwhelming revival that transformed the nation of Judah under King Josiah took place after the discovery of the Book of the Law (2 Kings 22-23; 2 Chronicles 34-35). Say HiRESOLUTIONS THAT SUSTAINS REVIVALNEH. 9:38 - 10:1-39 It was mentioned last Sunday that revival is not a program; neither it an event, a crusade, nor a crowd pulling event. Amongst others, revival has to do with spiritual awakening, divine visitation and divine arrival on the scene of our lives.  It is important to emphasize that no mortal can predict the extent to which a revival would impact a people, group or nation when it comes. Most times, we only see its beginning but not its ending. The Water Gate revival had such a great impact on the people of Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah that they issued a communique.
