Say HiThe Lord Jesus Christ is a man of prayer. He was committed to prayer during His lifein the flesh. Scripture attests to the fact that He is still interceding for His church tilldate. Talking about Christ’ prayer life, S. D. Gordon said: “The man Christ Jesus prayed;prayed much; needed to pray; loved to pray.”In his bid to teach his disciples “to pray,” Christ provided them with the prayer model inLk. 11:1ff.A good understanding of the principles taught in this passage would no doubt helpeveryone who desires to grow in his/her prayer life.Meanwhile, apart from learning the principles of prayer from this model prayer, wecan also deduce principal reasons why we should pray. Say HiThis is one of the Psalms that does not have any name to it as author. Some scholars however assume Moses’ authorship since the previous Psalm 90 carries his name. Nevertheless, this Psalm has been a great blessing to God’s people over the years.  Noteworthy though, is that for the timeless and many benefits of this Psalm, there are just two (2) requirements that the Lord has for whoever desires to be blessed by it. The beneficiaries are to:  To dwell in the Secret place of the Most High - V.1.          The secret place = shelter; cave; the place of prayer; God’s presence . Say HiToday, God is extending two calls to us. First, a call to awake from slumber and secondly, a call to see correctly. Zechariah was a man who maintained a vertical posture with God. He kept looking up (Zechariah 1:18; 2:1; 5:1; 6:1). No wonder, God showed him many revelations that helped in reintegrating those who returned from the exile. What we see often determines what we become and how far we will go. People usually say, ‘seeing is believing’, but according to scriptural parameters, believing is seeing’ (2 Corinthians 5:7; John 11:40). The reason most of us still see difficulty and impossibility ahead is because we are not yet seeing correctly. Whenever a believer in God sees correctly, every mountain along the way will become level ground. Say HiPlease open with me to Galatians 2 vs 20 I have been crucified with Christ...Here Paul the apostle was narrating what happened to him...We are going to tie this chapter with Romans 6 vs 1-11...When Paul said i have been crucified with Christ he was talking about his experience, what happened to him...He was talking about the day he gave his life to Christ...The crucified life is a life that has encountered Jesus Christ...To be saved means to surrender your will, meaning you no longer have your own will...They have publicly come to tell everyone that Jesus is their personal Lord and saviour...Colossians 2 vs 12 Bury with him in baptism in which also you were raised with him through faith in the working of God who raised him from the dead. Baptism, is for those who have given their lives to JESUS, That is why in the Baptist denomination, we believe that before you are baptised you must have encountered salvation. Say HiSoaring like EaglesWhen I look at this topic it gives me trouble, because it has to go to the foundation of our faith. Bible says in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. Isiah 40:28-....2 things I want you to pay attention to, 1st thing is that the God you serve does not fade.God is saying that He is constant, consistent, there is no variableness in Him, He is saying you can trust Him. God can be trusted, He is stable, He is unchanging, He isn't a politician, you can rest on Him, except you know that your christian life is shaky, having one leg in the church and the other leg somewhere else. God stands by His words, He said His word shall not come back to me void, God is consistent.
