Lawhead’s Court has a decision to make. On the day Lebron opt’s out of his current deal with the Miami, Jason brings more Heat on Lebron by dissecting the man and his methods.  Jason him haws at the thought of the King returning to Cleveland & what evidence there is to support such a thought. Lawhead’s Court returns from New York City.  With east coast dates slated for the All In Tour, Jason will be housing up in NYC over the next couple month & doing the Podcast from the Big Apple.  Living in the “Friendly” Hell’s Kitchen area 2 blocks form Broadway, Jason is on high alert the night of the Tony Awards. Jason witnesses the captain Derek Jeter in his final season, hears the voice of God Bob Shepard speak for the last time.  LC talks NBA Finals and considers Lebron rumors and even spreads a few.  Jason gets excited for #RollTribe as his Cleveland Indians are playing some of the best baseball in the MLB and we reminisce on a great week at Hilarities in Cleveland and look forward to The Stress Factory and Helium this weekend. Lawhead’s Court welcomes the always entertaining Joe Bartnick.  Joe comes back to the podcast to talk NHL hockey,  the co-host of Puck-Off and Pittsburgh native Bartnick brings the enthusiasm from how the game is played on the ice to making his point when talking Stanley Cup playoffs. Lawhead's Court becomes aware of why the NHL is better than the NBA, especially during the playoffs. Jason talks about the difference between the NHL and the NBA. He points out why the NHL appears to be playing for more than just the game. It's like there's something bigger or more meaningful that each team is going for. While the NBA and its players look like they're playing basketball, just to play basketball. There's magic in that Stanley Cup. Jason also points out the differences between the fans of the NHL and the NBA, eluding to why Jason feels NHL fans are better the NBA fans. We ramble about how we all through the mutual friendship with Bill Burr and how we all finally came together at Bill's wedding. Lawhead’s Court updates the condition of Jason’s back and what he saw with opening round of March Madness. Jason praises the quality of the games but has not so high praise for he quality of the broadcast. LC invites, actress, model, blogger and fellow Buckeye Amy Harber to sit down and try to make sense of the Ohio State Dayton game and we evaluate the wreckage to our brackets thus far. Amy shares a childhood growing up in southern Ohio as an Indians fan despite her parents love for the Big Red Machine. We delve into Spring Training a bit and talk about more on sports broadcasters and her take on a woman’s place behinf the mic in the mens arena and who are some of her favorites.

Lawhead’s Court celebrates a sober St. Patrick’s Day… kinda.  Jason and Rena Marie talk past Patty’s day drunkfests and compare it to being sober of the first one he can remember.  Jason explains a recent back injury he suffered & the unbearable pain but how he was saved by shot of morphine and some prescription painkillers which were just what the Doctor ordered.  We talk Malaysian Airline theories and what could have happened.  Jason gives his NCAA championship game predictions as Dick Vitale and schools Rena on what a Shocker is,  A Wichita State Shocker that is. Jason is honored to have Nick Kostis to Lawhead’s Court for an emotionally thoughtful funny walk through an era no longer there.  In the first of a series of interviews with the comedy legend, its Kostis who owns and operates arguably one of the very best comedy clubs in the country, Hilarities in Cleveland. Vision and innovation will be part of his legacy, but it was the sounds of laughter as a child that made Kostis so much more to comedy and a community.  In this first interview we ask Nick to talk about his childhood.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Greek immigrants, his parents were the sort that always welcomed newly arriving friends and strangers to the country and offered a place to stay.  It was this convivitality which became the moral compass to a life as more than a club owner but truly an entertainment director. It was a child in 50’s Brooklyn that a young Kostis saw Jackie Robinson speak at his school, a memory that still stirs emotions for Nick. Having lived in a culture of change

Lawhead’s Court is pleased to have one of it’s own on this week’s podcast.  A former player of Lorain Catholic and team Captain & MVP on the ’79 team, Rich made basketball his life.  He Tells us his journey as a college coach for 25 years and the ups and downs that come with the job.  Now a college basketball analyst for Big 12 & Missouri Valley Conference games with ESPN and FOX sports Zvosec gives us insight on the what its like to call & analyze the games from the sidelines.
