Vision and innovation will be part of his legacy, but it was the sounds of laughter as a child that made Kostis so much more to comedy and a community.  In this first interview we ask Nick to talk about his childhood.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Greek immigrants, his parents were the sort that always welcomed newly arriving friends and strangers to the country and offered a place to stay.  It was this convivitality which became the moral compass to a life as more than a club owner but truly an entertainment director. It was a child in 50’s Brooklyn that a young Kostis saw Jackie Robinson speak at his school, a memory that still stirs emotions for Nick. Having lived in a culture of change
