Infinity Inc #15 (1985)Chroma is an androgynous space being who shows up on different planets to sing melodious dirges about the apocalypse. Obsidian, who is literally made of shadows, is like “I’m already goth AF so nah man” and punches Chroma out. As a result, Los Angeles and the rest of the Infinity Inc members are bummed out. Action Comics [vol 1] #466 (1976)In a retread of previous Superman stories we’ve done, Lex Luthor finds a way to make not only Superman young but also manages to de-age Batman and Flash. Or does he? Actually, he doesn’t. He just uses teenage androids, kicks the Batman one into oblivion and makes Superman punch himself a whole lot. Marvel Two-In-One #30 (1977)The Thing and Alicia Masters eat lunch at Piccadilly Circus in London when they are interrupted by some chaos. A chino-clad Ben runs off to investigate and is ambushed by a Hydra-influenced Spider-Woman (who Ben insists is Spider-Man’s sister). Nick Fury tells Ben to shut his damn mouth. Later, Alicia gets nabbed by Spider-Woman so she can ALSO become a mutated woman who is ALSO a spider (a Spider-Woman). SUCH A BIG MAN! WHY DON’T YOU GO GET A PACK OF GUM - I’LL SHOW YOU HOW TO CHEW IT.Big Man is long-dead(ish) Spider-Man villain that in some ways served as a terrible bodyguard for J. Jonah Jameson, seeing that the Big Man is dead and all. But he did try to take over the NYC mob with a padded suit and lifts in his boots so you can’t count out his ambition. Not sure if you knew this but as of 1986-ish, Mysterio was in jail like FIVE TIMES and somehow keeps walking the streets. In this ep, we learn about his humble beginnings as a stuntman that just wanted to kill a superhero to his storied career of crime, teaming with other bulbous helmeted villains such as the Wizard.
