Vessel begins with a young doctor who lived by the sea, and an unlikely idea. Rebecca Gomperts, horrified by the realities created by anti-abortion law around the world, felt compelled to challenge this. Her method: to provide abortions on a ship in offshore waters. Diana's film premiered at SXSW where it won the Audience Award for Documentary in Competition. Supported by Impact Partners, the movie went on to win many more prizes, before playing on college campuses, engaging in education screenings and playing on Netflix. The film is now available on multiple platforms.
