Did you know there are many women in the New Testament who led and ministered in powerful ways? It's true! And interestingly, their ministries often seem to be in direct conflict with a universal understanding of 1 Corinthians 14 and 1 Timothy 2. In the first part of this week's discussion, we tell the stories of Mary (the mother of Jesus), Anna the Prophetess, the women at the tomb (who first preached the resurrection), as well as Priscilla and Aquila (a husband and wife ministry team spotlighted in the book of Acts). Additionally, we examine the questions they raise regarding female leadership and ministry in the 21st century.
