In an exclusive briefing for journalists, two senior economists at the International Food Policy Research Institute will provide updated analysis on global food security considerations, and answer questions about the potential short- and long-term impacts of the ongoing crisis. The briefing will include an overview of the USDA’s latest The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) being released on 12 September and its implications for food security around the world.
