FAR 178 Seminar Seduction Expected Air Date: 8/20/18 Opening If you’ve been around this business awhile, going to networking meetings or REIA groups, you’ve seen it - the tire-kicker. Or as we sometimes refer to the person - the Seminar Junkie. It took me about two visits to the group to realize that the vast majority of people who attend these meetings or belong to the networking groups are never going to actually do anything. I am the official organizer of three meetup groups in the Atlanta area with a combined membership of just over 5,000 people, which sounds pretty impressive until I share with you that I think out of the three groups perhaps 50 people are active investors and maybe 10 of those are doing this as their full-time job. I’m not criticizing the other group members. Some are gathering information and considering their options.
