As Christians we won’t be perfected until we get into heaven. But until that time, each and every day we have a never-ending series of spiritual choices. Do we obey or disobey? Do we do what God wants us to do or what we want to do? Is the general pattern of our lives obedience or disobedience? Before we’re through, each of us will be unmasked, but what will we find? Are we really Christians or deceived? Are we really Christians or just paying lip service to the faith? (1 John 2:3-14)
