Following a 21-point road loss at Duke, the IU men's basketball team put on a gritty performance to defeat Northwestern, 68-66, to begin Big Ten Conference play this weekend. IU now looks toward starting 2-0 in conference play with a game at Penn State scheduled for Tuesday night. But, the Hoosiers may have to play the Nittany Lions without the services of senior forward Juwan Morgan. IDS men's basketball writers Cameron Drummond, Ben Portnoy and Murphy Wheeler recap the past week of IU hoops, which also featured a major recruiting victory for IU Coach Archie Miller.
