The Braided Janes is a bilingual post punk latin rock band from Chicago, Il USA. The trio consists of Juny Alvarez on electronic drums, Andrew Doyle on bass and Jessica Rodriguez on keyboard and vocals. Each member of the band brings a unique flavor to their music. Andy's background in jazz bass paired with Juny's latin rhythm and Jessica's thought provoking lyrics braid together a sonic work of art in every song. The Braided Janes have successfully mastered the ability to transcend through genres and language barriers, creating a unique and refined style they can truly call their own. Aside from their tremendous friendship and love of music, the Braided Janes share a vision for social change.
