Quinn Tsan began her career as a back-up singer. After relocating from Minneapolis to Chicago in 2007, she collaborated with artists like Joe Pug, Rachele Eve, Tony Trimm, and others, co-writing verses on hip hop tracks, touring the midwest, providing harmonies on the 2012 EP ‘Wife Songs.’ In 2012, Tsan was invited to join the ensemble for The Fly Honey Show, an annual production by The Inconvenience that spans a 2000+ person audience each year. In 2013, Tsan became a featured musician and dancer and has since become a founding company member of the show. Shortly after, Tsan began writing and performing her own music, initially recording a collection of original songs with Liam Cunningham (Kids These Days, Marrow) and Dorian Gehring (Exit Ghost, Marrow). In 2014, Tsan’s debut EP Good Winter was released to an overwhelming response from listeners and was called “an artist with the sort of drive and purpose that many spend years trying to achieve”, by The Chicago Tribune.
