Permanent Plus One

Hey Friends! You may remember (from IG) that we traveled down to ATL for this year's Black Love Summit and it was pretty amazing. Being surrounded by so many other couples focused on investing in their relationships was refreshing and encouraging. Codie & Tommy Oliver (Founders of Black Love Doc) did an incredible job putting this event together, and it was also dope to watch them actually WORKING the event like the true entrepreneurs they are. They also shouted us out on stage and we missed it because our Lyft driver wanted to drive down MEMORY LANE instead of focusing on the highways and byways! We're also talking about the sacrifices involved with having parents who are transitioning into different life situations and what that means for us as adult children trying to make things happen from another city.
