We put boundaries in many areas of our lives, but we often fail to put them around our relationships. There’s a misconception that setting boundaries will cause us to reject people. But we learned that there’s a difference between selfishness and stewardship. Having healthy boundaries is not about keeping people out, it’s about keeping certain behaviors out. We have one life to live and we should maximize this life for the glory of God. And in order to do that, we have to steward ourselves well with healthy boundaries.
