As a once short lived play by play broadcaster, I have always admired and looked up to the greats who have called sports on radio and tv throughout my life.  From yesteryear to today, play by play broadcasters have been as vital of the excitement of games as the athletes determining the outcome. From "THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT! THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!" to "Do you believe in Miracles? YES"!! ... I go over all the great announcers from  Cossell to Vin Skully and the greatest calls from the likes of Jack Buck and more. So sit back and come along for the nostalgia of what makes the game of sport more dramatic than just what we see.  Its also what we hear that keeps the memory etched in the back of our minds.
