Sinopsis

Due to some extra out of state business travels via the 9 to 5 AND the music ends during the past few weeks, here the latest FLASHBACK episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast for the weeks of Dec. 6 & 13, 2017 [originally broadcast on the week August 20, 2008] with some new and classic music from the international Black Diaspora, news and commentary. During that week, we had a great interview with author Douglas A. Blackmon for his book, "Slavery By Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II" (now currently out on Doubleday Books), which "brings to light one of the most shameful chapters in American history—when a cynical new form of slavery was resurrected from the ashes of the Civil War and re-imposed on hundreds of thousands of African-Americans until the dawn of World War II" by throwing Black Men, Women and Children into prison in the South for labor purposes under false pretenses to be arrested. Feel free to check out more information about him
