Nonverbal behaviours have historically been regarded as more important in communication than verbal behaviours. This talk will argue how and why verbal behaviours, rather than nonverbal behaviours, are most critical in today's digital society.   Vivian P. Ta is a PhD student at the University of Texas at Arlington where she conducts research in social and personality psychology.
