Ralph Stephens was a musician who discovered massage therapy as a way to relieve the stress of living on the road, then discovered that giving massage was less wear and tear on his body and let him live in one place. After almost three decades of practicing and teaching massage, he now is the co-developer and primary trainer for Neural Reset Therapy® (NRT). This is a practice of relieving pain without causing any pain to the patient or therapist. Through specific techniques, muscles in spasm are induced to release in just a few minutes. In this engaging conversation, this 2008 Inductee into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame, discusses NRT and the training he is offering on Oct 31-Nov 1 at the Pittsburgh School of Massage, and also at the CE Conference at Seven Springs in early November.
