Working under the premise that a great city needs a strong transit system, IndyConnect has been in the works for years. Now some of its key elements are closer to fruition. News about the federal funding request for construction of the Red Line rapid transit route is imminent, and Friday 2/5 was the first public meeting on the city-wide plan to scale up service to better connect workers with jobs, appeal to Millennial talent and create new development in neighborhoods across the city.
