When many charismatic prophets inaccurately predicted that Trump would win in 2020, it was a slap in the face for the modern prophetic movement. Many people began to accuse this movement of hype and inaccuracy. This kept many people from embracing the modern prophetic movement. In addition, famous prophets said that Los Angeles would sink into the Pacific Ocean, and that never came to pass, either. I still believe that the modern prophetic movement is from God and that God is reintroducing the gift of prophecy to the modern church.
