Broadcast Journalist, Victoria Gaither, sat down with Raymond W. "Ray" Smock who is an American historian, currently serving as director of the Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies at Shepherd University to talk about the Byrd Center and why history is so important in today's society. Ray is also formerly the Historian of the United States House of Representatives. It was an honor to speak with him inside his office at the Byrd Center on a lovely fall day on campus.
