Pastor Chad came with a great message last night preaching on Proverbs 23 about alcohol — not just the bottle, but the battle behind it. 5 Warnings We Can’t Ignore: 1. It can cause problems – What are you lingering around? 2. It looks good… at first – It may sparkle, but it bites. 3. It poisons – Some of us know the sting too well. 4. It impairs – Convictions get blurry when you’re not sober. 5. It consumes – “You don’t know what you’re willing to risk for the bottle.” Drunkenness is the sin, not the sip — but wisdom is knowing where the line is.
