Roots: Born into a family of determined survivors on a military base in Newport, Rhode Island, Grace's early years were influenced by the legacy of her family elders rooted in the Jim Crow segregated South in the United States. Growing up amid the civil rights movement, she was instilled with a belief in her capacity, capability, and responsibility to carry the hope of generations for full participatory rights. Career Evolution: A Counselor's vision of potential led to a high school job in a law library that cultivated a love of the law, acceptance in law school, and landing her first lawyer job as a Law and Education Policy Analyst.  From here, Grace's career path took shape.
