Dr. Lauren Noel is the founder of Shine Natural Medicine. She was awarded her Bachelor Degree in psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, California. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in an acupuncture clinic and discovered the beauty of natural medicine. She also developed a passion for nutrition and began pursuing a career that viewed “food as medicine.” To convert this passion to a career, Dr. Noel completed a four year graduate medical degree at the famed National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. During her clinical years at NCNM, Dr. Noel interned at Outside In, a clinic that focuses on the health of at risk youth and homeless teens. As a medical student, Dr. Noel was hand picked as a member of the Presidential Ambassadors Leadership Society (PALS), and was a nominatee of the Leadership Award and the prestigious Benedict Lust award. She completed a one year internship in naturopathic/integrative cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine under the mentorship of Martin M
