Description: For this episode, we have a really fun collaboration with another papal history podcast, Pontifacts with Bry and Fry. The history of the popes of Rome is such a nearly infinite topic, which is great because the institution can be looked at in many different ways. I take more of a scatter shot approach. I pick and choose and follow threads in interesting directions. I like the politics, philosophy, theology and big picture of the Church and its leadership. Pontifacts takes the approach of providing biographies of each pope and evaluating them.
