The world of concussion managment has evolved signficiantly over the past 5-10 years and SWAY Medical has been on the forefront of applying science to the management of concussion. SWAY Medical came into the concussion management world focusing on providing a convienent but evidence based way to objectively measure balance and therefore help in the evaluation and treatment of concussion. In this episode, we talk with Kim Wyand PT, DPT, and Casey Paulk MS, LAT, ATC about everything that is SWAY Medical. They share the history of how SWAY got started and how it was built on evidence and science. They also discuss how SWAY has continued to evolve in concussion evaluation and management and that the feedback they get from athletic trainers is key to their success in creating and providing a product that benefits everyone.
