In this message we examine the life of Moses as mentioned in Hebrews 11. It goes without saying that if you were to put together a list of heroes of the faith from the Old Testament, Moses would surely be at the top of that list. He is considered by many to be the greatest man in the Old Testament, he received the 10 Commandments from God and established the law, he renewed the Covenant between God and the Israelites, he established the sacrificial worship system and oh yeah. he confronted the greatest empire of its day to rescue, set free the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt. But these are not the examples of faith that we find in Hebrews 11, instead we have several glimpses from Moses's earlier life that set him on the path to becoming the Hero of Faith we know today. Why would the writer choose these examples and what are their significance? How do these examples help us answer some of life's most challenging questions for our own lives like; "Who am I?"
